I've also read about a fair number of players who were formerly low-mid.stakes MTT/SNG players who've moved to Merge & have dropped way down in buyins but are still trying to make a go of it. Others who were formerly 200-400nl cash nlhe players who've dropped down to 10nl & 25nl in hopes of building a roll & moving up thru the levels. (I'd imagine this would be fairly common as I've heard of quite a few who are doing this now).
I've also heard that the skill level of play in Merge micros has increased considerably since Black Friday (as it has conversely lowered quite a bit on FTP)

UB, fortunately I lost a bunch in the Mini UBOC & then with a bit left in account I just 'uninstalled' the software from my computer. Feel bad for players who've actually still been playing on there.

With the FTP shutdown for the time i guess that things are getting harder for all and not only US.

Surely after BF we should go out of FTP and PS but for the rest of the world every one said that was business like usual, so surely that is not the case.

I probably should go to a NON us poker site to be completely safe, but for the time i feel safe in Stars.

Gameplay relate as been better i think, i least i find gameplay change a lot, players are more loose now with out all the US regulars, so to me looks like more easy than before to win. (maybe im getting better but i go for the part that fields are softer now).

I don´t play in merge since some time, so not sure, but my guess is that gameplay in there go little tough because all US players taking merge like the new home.

Titan needs to get working on making some more improvements/updates to their site imo. Sure it's 100% better than it used to be ~1yr. ago but can't understand what keeps them from making more improvements?
The MTTs on there get decent traffic in them (at least the cheapies do, $5-$10buyins & cheap rebuys) so I don't know why they don't add more of them into the lobby? Lots of stuff they could be doing on there > 'timebank' for MTT play (instead of only having it on final tables & on higher buyins), & 'late reg. for MTT play' would be a start.
SNG's suck on there so I can't see the site picking up many SNG grinders (structure sucks imo & there's just not enough traffic.... nowhere near what players on the big two are used to).
I guess I'll have to force myself to start liking Pokerstars now? (I preferred FTP over Stars a thousand times over).
Tom Dwan seems to think there might be some sort of possibility of the site (FTP) bein' up & running again.... we'll see what develops. Rumour is that FTP is offering up 50% of the biz for $200mil & are looking to be licenesed elsewhere. Again, we'll see....

Russian poker-pros have got hundreeds of thousands $ stuck on full tilt accounts, but the results of different surveys say that most of them would continue to play on FTP, if it somehow could open again. I can`t understand why, but looks like people can`t learn from their faults.
