Post Choosing a poker site

For me picking a online poker site boils down to trusting the site, Where you feel comfortable playing at. Are they reputable, They don't blow you off when you contact customer support. So my two picks are PokerStars, & FullTilt. The customer support on both sites have giving me a prompt and courteous replies. The game selection at both are very good and waiting for the tables to fill is minimal. This is IMHO.

Default Hollywood poker site

I play at the Hollywoodpoker.com site...... It offers a ton of free rolls and a variety of cash tables.

There are a lot of tournaments with stars.... some well known and some not so well known,,,,, the ones with a star are supposed to be stars....

Have a look pretty neat site....

I like the big two...pokerstars and fulltilt just because of the volume of games. Mind you, I have done well on some of the smaller sites like nutpoker and poker4ever.

I agree that most sites have a good side and bad and everyone will love them or hate them.

I play mostly freerolls until I win a little, play for real, lose, and then back to freerolls to start all over. AB, Ultimate, Carbon, Poker Stars, and Full Tilt all have tournments that are fun to play and if you can last out the onslaught of all-inners the first couple of rounds, they're fun. Carbon I like because they limt the entrants to less than 1500.

Like most things it's individual choice. I will not however deposit on a "new" site unless it has been in business 2 years and has a good rep, or is part of an existing "trusted" network. Likewise some people have a favourite site and others they just cannot seem to win at. For me the Merge network is a cash cow, as is FT, but since winning a $4:40 180sng on Stars, I cannot seem to win on there, even though I cashed in EVERY Can v US qualifier, whenever I got close to making the final, the suckouts were brutal.

I quess the bonuses matter but for me I don't think it matters where I play- how long do you have to be a rook before things click? lol

Wink Best Poker site

I would have to say CarbonPoker is the best one because its more easier to win money without having to pay money then any other site. 2nd best would be pokerstars just cause of all the publicity it gets and the cards hardly ever major donk on you. Any poker site where you only can play real money table really sucks.

I would not pick a online poker site based on the fact that it was easy to win at or because of publicity. Absolute Poker & Ultimate Bet were both publicised sites with many commercials on T.V. and look at all the accusations that were against them. I cant tell you the last time i have seen a Absolute or UB. commercial on T.V.
