How do you stop this or can you?

I am getting killed in Ring and SNG's by people limping with AA, KK, AK. There isn't anyway to prevent this or recognize this unless you see a person doing this, is there? If then you recognize the person doing this your playing into his play not yours. Any Ideas!

Limping with big hands such as AA or KK or AK is always a very dangerous play. It has its merits in that you disguise the strength of your hand and make it more diffiult for your opponents to put you on a hand. However it also puts you at risk of other players limping in, especially from the blinds, and catching cards with nothing. Until I have a good idea on what type of hands the players are willing to play I tend to try and get the pot against either one or two players. The more players that are in the pot the more likely it is that your hand will get busted.

i dont recommend limping with big hands becaause u need to get the fish that might to o fold there hand and the only way to ty and help this is to make notes on the players hat do it so you can try and get a read on them if u think they may be doing this

I would only recommend this in heads up because the chances of them hitting, say, two pair is much slimmer.

I LOVE limping into a pot with AA..especially against aggressive players. I provide the rope for their hanging...

BTW, Hope your not playing A2 A3 A4 A5....A 10 then complain over AA limping in...

I watch my opponets... If they like to bluff...or HAS to bet every damn hand... I limp in.

Now, if there arent any Aggresive players still in the hand..and just people that call anything... I raise my AA...all depends on my opponets.

Honestly the best and safest way to get your money's worth is to make them pay to see the flop, if you know you're ahead pre-flop, make them pay with the weaker hand, you'll push many limper's out
