Always Muck. If you do show, then it could ruin you later on. If you show good hand, then you'll get no action later on. If you show bad hand, you get more action than you want!!! Mucking is therefore the best.

Towards the end of a sit & go, when your bluffing to steal the blinds - never show - this will only encourage people to call - which isn't what you want. On the flip side - showing a good hand towards the end that has made people fold - will stop them calling next time you bluff to steal the blinds. Apart from that I muck 95% of the time and will occasionally show a bluff to creat action if the table is too tight for my game.

i always muck and always have the auto muck checked. however, the other day I flopped a K's full of J's and wanted to show , but i didnt uncheck the auto muck soon enough.
but i think you should always muck.
i tag people who always show as newbies

Muck 'em all. If everyone else folds out on a hand and I get the pot I always muck. You wanna see what I was holding you need to stay, pay, and play. No free shows.

There are few reasons to show cards and showing them hurts more than it helps in most situations.

I wrote an article that has relation to this topic.

i never ever show a bluff i just makes people think you bluff every hand always end up getting called especually late in a game when you want to steal blinds

but i sometimes show my cards if i have a very good hand and have been playing tight then you can steal a pot a little later people think you will only go on good hands

nothing worse than getting caught with your pants down trying to steal on a bluff with nada but we still do from time to time

Default mucking...

usually will muck unless asked nicely or opponent shows on fold. (ps...i used to show more but then people quit calling me and that meant i was only getting small pots.)

Default show, muck

Hi all,

I prefer to change;

sometimes I prefer to muck, sometimes I want to show the cards;

In my opinion it's better to not have a strategy; but to show the cards casually;
best regards,
mauro
