Bodog being a little weird

I hate when people claim a poker site has more bad beats than others.

But, on bodog, I made 50 dollars last night, playing VERY bad poker. I kept raising inside straight draws, and I would ALWAYS get them on the turn. Even though I was winning, I felt something was wrong.

Then today, the OPPOSITE happened. I was playing PERFECT poker, and I lost the 50 in a matter of an hour.

I would call all ins with AA. The other person would have J 3 and two 3's would flop.

I would call A7 with A K and his seven would make a straight.

Now, bad luck happens, but this happened with EVERY HAND I PLAYED. Literally, 50 hands in a row, I made the right call, and lost.

It was a little odd.

Went back to pokerstars, and it felt like a whole different game.

Anyone else experienced problems with bodog's random card generator?

Welcome to my world. I just can't bring myself to play bad poker but it's the only way to win on that site. I swear AA against a 45 is going to lose half the time.
As I like to say Bodog - rewarding bad play since 1998.

hope this is a help but using a run of 50 or 100 hands isnt anything like enough to be expecting the "laws of probability or statistics" to take hold

you could have (and many poker pro's do) a bad run of cards that lasts a year of playing in endless tournaments

so 50 hands is nothing - I wouldnt worry too much about it if your playing a consistently near to correct game (including chasing a few drawing hands) and aggressively playing aces you will over a decent amount of time finish out up

but that assumes sticking with a good strategy for premium hands and a sensible approach to playing drawing / speculative hands

IMHO all the well known / established top 50 sites have honest RNG (Random Number Generators)

I'll often find I'll play at several sites (with some preconceptions about what each ones seemed to favour in previous sessions) only to have totally opposite things happening at totally different sites

ie. playing a 100's of hands at 10 sites evens out that they are all similar / not different

what is very different is the players between sites and between specific tables / limits etc

hope that is a help - bad beats happen and you see crazy things online - but equally I've seen them live too

You will defintly see alot of sick beats on Bodog. I certinly do lol. I couldnt tell you if its rigged or theres just so many fish chasing 4 outers that there bound to get lucky and suck out more often.Neither would suprise me.
