I have been re-studying my online play and have improved a little. Here's how.
I am having to be more patient and play tighter than I would like, plus if I am playing in a tournament I am seeing very few bluffs. If someone raises me or keeps calling, they usually have me beat if they already have a good size stack. Not always, but especially toward the end of a tourney, most big stacks are not just bullying. They usually have a pretty good hand.
I am raising a lot more than just calling, like everyone always tells you to but with so many people just calling, I was falling into the same habit. My biggest thing is being more patient.
Don't know if this will help anyone, since it may sound like the same old, same old to you, but it never hurts to hear some things again.

I have also been trying to be more patient at the tables. my biggest downfall is chasing when I know I should fold. Lost a lot of hands like that but I'm improving as well.

I think the Stakes level play a roll here

If you're in middle to late tourney time, and you loose 1/3 of your 20bb stack in a failed flop, you can't allow to wait for premium.
Those times I'm tempted to play as rock with fear of leaving sooner, usually don't have an happy ending, and when that hand comes it's in a time where it doesn't make much difference what the holecards are.

So you've have to be patient enough to have play with relative decent hands as you find an Ev spot to shove or bet.
