I signed up on ClubWPT.com you pay a monthly fee of $19.99 you get unlimited play since you dont have $$$ on account like PStars FTP etc...... you start with 500 chips. They have freerolls & $$ tourney, qualifiers for bigger $$. I played in my first tourney. 150+ reg. It payed top 100, you win chips, i came in 22 won 40 chips. Winner won 300+ chips+ $10.00. If you use all your chips in 1day they will give you 500 more the next day. So you will never run out. You pay taxes on any winnings over $600 in a year. The good thing you can cancel any time if you don't like it. Any ??? please feel free to send me a PM. I will post answers in (online poker - general) look for clubWPT/answers.

Has anyone else went throught ClubWPT's "cancellation circus"? You click on the link to cancel and it gives you a toll free number to call. You call the number during the hours they STATE they are open - but UNFORTUNATLEY no one is available. So you have to leave your information and clearly state that you want to cancel. They say someone will call back "usually" within 24 hours.

Why do they make someone who has supported their site by joining go through this! What a disappointment, as well as pain in the neck.

As of 3 calls, I have not been contacted and will be sure to avoid this mistake again.

That is very interesting. I've watched their "turbo-esque" game on TV before. It's a lame ass game, cuz the blinds are so high it only matters if you've got a little bit of luck. So I figured any company that was that short-sighted with their BIGGEST promotion wasn't going to be where I wanna be.

But I do trust Derr's opinion so I'd like to know more.

What kinda big money tournaments do they do?

How often are real money games running?

How often are games which put you on TV running?

Do they have WPT qualifiers?

i had no problem cancelling. i tried it for the 2 free weeks. it wasn't worthwhile for the time of day i like to play. i'm up late at night and there just weren't a lot of games for me.

Dont know much about the tourney's except that if you like free-rolls you will love this site. As i remember its low return against lots of entrants.

Cant see paying a monthly fee when most good players can make a single deposit and build a nice BR from there.

I did the free trial for about a week and half and then I decided to cancel. The main problem I had was that the majority of the freerolls were for points. Once you earned the points you had to wait until the weekend to play for anything worthwhile. Cancelling was easy, and took about 10 minutes over the phone. Just make sure you call between 1 PM and 3 AM Eastern. They do ask you why you are cancelling, so to speed up the process I just told them I am now in a state that isn't allowed to play. No further questions were asked. Here' a list of ineligible states

I gave the site a month, I enjoyed playing for TAG glasses - NUTS - a POKER TABLE - won $10 in one of the big games, but no difference than the online sites, THE small tournies about 200 people but put a big toruny and its close to 2000 people, SIte aint bad for palying all day for $20 but it dont seem like GAMBOOOLLING

Can any one tell me exactly how to cancel WPT.I try to sign in and it says website not available when I use my user name and password.Is there a number I can Call.Please help I desperatly want to cancel this subscription.
