thats bad news bears there. ive been there and had the same thing happen more times than i care to remember. i guess the only real lesson is when playing online especially in a FREE roll you never know who is playing. i mean it could be someones 12 year old kid playing on daddies computer. so typical play can sometimes get lost. in your case i guess all you can do is push a little harder and try to take the pot on the turn, but sometimes that just means losing bigger on the suck out. sort of a catch 22 really

I've never really understood why people need to denigrate others players who aren't at their level. People who play worse than you are the biggest source of profit in poker. Yes, they suck out on you sometimes. That's an inherent part of the game. It's also what keeps those people around longer so you can win more from them.

And have you never made a play with some mediocre hand where you were in trouble but sucked out?
