cont'd.,... this way too, I can preclick off 'fold' on some tables I know I won't be playing the hand, so I can better focus my attention on the one's I might or will be playing. It just makes sense to me (maybe cuz I'm used to it??). I tried convincing a friend of mine to do it this way,... nope, they wanted to be blind as to what was happening on all their other tables and wanted to see super huge graphics on the table they were choosing an action on. Just for the simple fact of avoiding misclicks I think would be enough to want to 'tile the tables'??? Are these all freerolls or what??
wow very good thread!! gives us all a chance to complain lol
i hate misclicks! omgosh i have done so many times! thats the reason i no longer ever ever! click the pre selection boxes....they pop up tooo fast! most of the time i lose, but once in a while i win and ya the donkey calls come out!
and disconnects!! argh! 2 weeks ago the power went out from lightning, i was leading massivly in a bodog game, I called my old lady who is up in canada, she loaded it up and tried logging in but couldn't so she kept an eye on it(canadians can't play there) top 36 paid and i went out 38th...like 2 hours later =\
OMG, that is the worst. I have had this happen sooooo many times. Although, I have been playing exclusively on Carbon Poker latey as opposed to my other site, Bodog, and since I have been playing here I have not has this hapen at all. Maybe Carbon Poker is aware of this and has place buttons a little bit better.
On another front, the wireless in my apartment building (and my GF is the property manager) has been horrible lately. The worst part is that it always seems to go out when I have a killer hand. In fact it only goes out when I have a killer hand. It is like the Internet here is out to get me.
Plain and simple, the anonymity that the online version of poker offers to poker players leaves the door open for sooo much more complaining. If half of the online players acted like they do in a live tournament they would be mortally embarassed. Grow up. You dont like the luck side of things? Play chess.
Along with this is blaming the house for bad beats. Next time you're in a real game start bitchin at the Taj for stacking the deck.
The worst thing about on-line poker????! It's getting your money IN and OUT of the poker room. It takes so long to get make a withdrawal, and you sometimes have to go through a hassle to make a deposit.
Are you kidding it is the most frustrating feeling in the world, clicking all in on a hand that is'nt worth the paper it's printed on. I have done one(folded) or the other several times in the past. Things that help you not have misclicks are - shut the tv off, hang up the phone, ignore the wife and kids, and dont play 5 games at once. It seem to to help me.
I have had this happen to me as well and when i was in a great position to win a tourney. I was on a blind and had nothing but 3 6 off suit. Ass I was clicking the check button it changed to call because someone called all in and it came around to fast to change it. Bang i had nothing. and lost half my chips.
it happens to us all ! but for most it probably happens when playng muliple games i know thats when it happens to me . but as far as complaining about online poker why do it . we all know about poor players or the person who has to leave , or the any number of other things that happen while playing and you lose a hand or get knocked out of a tourney. simple fact is poker is poker and someone has to lose. life is too short to get upset and all bent out of shape just cause you lose. if thats the case maybe you shouldnt play!
