i feel ya... i recently raised with AA and got reraised and i folded cause i timed out, cause i played so many other tables that i missed it

I have had plenty of badbeats in online poker, but the worst thing I have found, is the rudeness of the players. Some of these players think nothing of calling terrible names to others, including myself. Sore losers are in there by the hundreds. It is a game. Only a game, and yes, a game in which we all want to win and be ranked high on the list for being a great player. However, there are lots of players that are new, playing the freerolls gets to be boring, and therefore.. when I make a deposit and play in money games, I don't like being called names!!! The unsavory characters that use profanity and don't get kicked to the curb, get on my last nerve.

I am still a newbie myself... it has taken me months to figure out some of these forums. I am not stupid, but sometimes I guess you need to click on "remember me" in order to stay in...duh!

Anyway, my belief is, to treat others as I wish to be treated. I have kicked butt in many of these games but have also had my butt kicked. I don't get mouthy and call people names!

Oh my goodness, happens to me often!!!! Think I am calling on one game and folding on the other, folded pocket A's yesterday!

You are not alone. I recently started playing a new site, and ....worst about it is, if you attempt to click in the little box, prior to it coming full circle to your turn, and it suddenly is your turn... as you attempt to click the CHECK box, it suddenly becomes the FOLD box when it is full circle. Understand? Cannot tell you how many games were folded yesterday or day before and would have gotten full house, or straight or whatever.

Ok, I have a question. Why... are you called a donkey if you CHECK, or CALL on anything mis-suited. I call on say... 10 D and 2 S and end up with a full house, because the first 3 cards out happened to be 2 10's and a 2 or vice versa. I happen to be lucky with 2's and 10's... why am I considered a donkey? I am still a newbie.. but have been fortunate on a lot of the calls I make.

It is all a gamble.. understandable.. but I just don't comprehend what difference is it that I CHECK on what I have in my hand... whether it is a bad call or whether I win?? Is it because the others cannot read the type of player I am ??

I was winning the other night, and this one man kept asking me did I not see where the FOLD button was... and continued to keep calling me a donkey. Please help?

i did the same thing yesterday in a sng. i was big blind and had only 900 or so chips left and i had bad cards. i obviously checked before the flop, then the flop came no help to me and someone raised 600 i think. i was trying to check the "check/fold" box but before i could it was my turn again so i clicked "call" instead. i wasn't very happy.

reading players online is easy if u pay close attention to people and try to pick up on their betting patterns... if u know how a guys is betting then thats just as good as him beinbg in front of u dumpimg u insane tells

Geez,I could make a list of all the things I hate about online poker....But the trash talk at the table,the whining,complaining,blaming,name calling...all of it makes me sick! Half the complainers about bad beats don't even know what a BAD BEAT is,every hand they lose is a "bad beat" to them...The calling people "gay",or telling people they *&^%$# their mother,etc etc...WHAT does that have to do with poker!?!? Saying the sites are rigged...in a forum freeroll,GET REAL!!! I hate to lose as much as the next person,but seriously,the talk at the tables is pathetic.
