Why crash other forum games just for a few bucks. We don't like it when others do it to us here.
Yes, Mpb it is the policy of a number of forums. I think, Manhater, if you withdraw your membership in the pw sharing site, you can probably be reinstated at Cardchat. It's worth a try, I guess. I don't belong to that forum so I don't know what they will do.

Im pretty sure that its just as likely to be the posting of links in your sig that made them ban you
but if they also have a policy on password sites then it may be that
I would just ask their admin - after all its them that has made the decision
IMHO there is a definate logic to being suspicious of anyone who is a member of a freeroll password site ... after all its main (if not only purpose) is to share private passwords (whether they like to pretend otherwise or not) therefore anyone who has join one of these sites is by its purpose most likely to either share or use passwords they shouldnt
so if sites decide to go down the list of members and delete anyone associated with the site then I cant really fault that logic ... they are taking the decision that if someone is a member of that site they are just as likely to post / share any / all forum passwords they get by being a member of forums
I pretty much agree with them, although in practical terms the worst offenders are not daft and have different user names - so you cant get rid of them all (and probably miss the sneaky ones who are the biggest offenders)
I dont like having to compromise with the sites - but some of them its better to have some dialogue so passwords do get removed - than none and not be able to get them removed
one thing is safe to say ... these password sites, forums who have a private password section and members who post private passwords ARE a major irritation to all webmasters with decent sites and decent membership who simply dont want passwords going anywhere they shouldnt

then I can only suggest you email their admin and ask them what their policy is (maybe they have just had enough and ban anyone they find is also a member of a password sharing site regardless of whether they have posted a password or not)
to be honest when I first saw the site I wanted to do exactly the same and have a clear out of any members who were even looking for passwords - unfortunately it's guilty by association ... right or wrong ... belonging to a freeroll password sites is a pretty good indication that those members are more likely to be problematic and webmasters are less likely to trust them when an issue comes up with passwords being leaked
just ask the forum what the problem is ... then you know ... then you can either unjoin the other site if that is the problem or move on
As I've said before I really dont see any reason to be in the password sites - other than to use passwords that are posted or to post passwords ... both are wrong and strictly speaking neither should be tollerated
Generally ... In order to avoid problems with all the decent forums who have their own private passwords I would stongly suggest everyone avoids joining any site that gives out any private passwords and if your a member already then people might want to think where the loyalties should be ... the sites that put the money up and arrange games or sites that prey on others efforts & money to build a membership
cheers scrawnybob

I did but they won't email me back and no skin off my back if they want to be mean about it. Like it will only take 5 minutes of their time to type a letter.
I'm leaning towards Bob's theory about guilt by association. If you're with the scumbag site that survives by posting other forums PRIVATE passwords this could be them nipping a possible bud before it causes a problem.
The thievery issue there is a serious problem that has many members angered/upset/concerned (take your pick) and it shows from a thread I put up there in mid May and it is still an active thread. To this day the blog receives an almost daily response, and most replies aren't just to say "I had a password thief at my table." .Many are offering suggestions on how to curb the problem. Not that most are plausible, it still shows the efforts by members and admins to put and end to this dirty practice.
I myself have taken up the task to check on a few of these dirtball sites on a regular basis to see if certain forums, including this one, have had their passwords compromised. If, more like when, I find this has happened I will in turn send the info to the victim site's admins and let them deal with it if they can.
As you must be aware of how that bootleg site operates Maneater, post pw's to receive credits that are needed to receive other pw's, you can't say you aren't a threat to any forum that holds private freerolls.I'm not saying you have ever posted a pw there, but the site is mostly about passwords for people to jump into other forums tourneys uninvited. The open public freeroll section there isn't what brings it's members to the site. These tourney's can be found easily at many other venues with very little searching efforts.
So to sum it up, I think you're caught under the "Fly with the crows, get shot with the crows" law.
