Cards Chat banned me

Wish they would be a bit more specific, I haven't even been there a day or two so how could I spam? Unless it's cause I'm a member at poker freeroll pass. Gosh , only thing I did was introduce myself and wish them luck in the tournaments. . I never spam anyone. I'm a quiet member.

I don't understand.

they may consider your signature spam if u use the same one i see under your name now....expecially since it links to a poker site that they don't do business with.....im not for sure but i think a sig link like that may be against the rules here too...i am sure bob will let you know...did u just add it recently???

yeah, i noticed everyone else was doing it. So, I did it. I didn't think there was a problem

But, on Cards Chat I never even put a sig.

I just did that today.

i don't know why they would do it then but for the link i don't know anybody else here that has a link to a poker site here in their sig.... but if it is against the rules here bob will let you know

I'll take it down if there is any problem. I don't mind complying with the rules. I'm just a numbsckull at times.

I emailed them but no response as of yet. And, it wasn't a mean one , just one explaining the the situation to me so I can better understand what the problem is.

I heard anyone connected to that password site will have there account deleted from cardschat.

And to be honest I don't blame them for doing it.
Why crash other forum games just for a few bucks.We don't like it when others do it to us here.

hmm - well I know the owner over there pretty well and he is very good and very fair

so I'm guessing they have had a clear out of anyone who is also a member of "that password site"

I've been thinking about doing the same to be honest as while the admin at "that password site" has taken our passwords down when posted - we really are not making much of an impression on the freeroll password sharing community (which isnt welcome here)

the other possibility is sigs - they may work the same way as us ie. generally no sigs / sig links etc

but allow a few members to have them - this is the same policy as here (and I'm pretty sure that is their rules)

we dont allow links / promos in sigs and so if you spot them they shouldnt generally be there (with a very few exceptions - which I'm probably phasing out)

I think its safe to say that although we (and I think cardschat) are trying keep some channels open with "that password site" and they have a similar "no passwords to be posted" agreement with them - we view members there with a fair bit of suspicion...

at the end of the day we dont want our passwords shared with anyone but the site is a password sharing site ... therefore its not unreasonable to assume that anyone who is a member is

either posting passwords they shouldnt

or prepared to use passwords that shouldnt be posted or used

either way I think forums are getting hacked off with some of their members giving passwords out etc

i'd actually feel the loss is all their's.

not that people there are 1/2 as nice as we are on 4kingpoker but again- if they banned you its their loss not yours!
