Hi all, first poster here. Playing a game on Pokerstars tonight, I get a message that my deposit had a problem (last deposit successfully went through a few hours ago). I go to check the cashier, and all my money i've saved up (close to $50) is gone. I emailed them, and got a response saying it would be handled shortly, but its been two hours now What the hell is this, has anybody experienced this before?

I have not had any probs with poker stars re this.
I have heard of OTHER People ( more than 3) getting this on UB even to the point one person got a "Duff" check sent to him from UB (They SAY.......... UB denied it)
Yes I would be worried.
I sent a little note out asking if any ones had a prob with poker stars on a different web site, so I get back to you if any one else has.
Please keep this forum in the loop and let us know how you get on with it.
I submitted some copy to a mag about "poker stars" and got a snippy email note back saying it was with the:-
"Legal Department"
magazine code for "They didnt Like What I said and there not paying me till the legal department knows they are not getting suied" Not That I really Give a Fuck, anyway..........
so today, I got another email from pokerstars, saying there was another problem with my account. So I go and check my cashier, and now I am somehow at NEGATIVE $8.37. I dont know whats going on here, but its pretty #&*!?@ lame. Anybody have any suggestions as to what I should do, aside emailing support?
Seems to me support is the only real option. Did you maybe have a deposit that didn't go through or something? I know someone who had a check deposit reversed once on partypoker a few years ago and he ended up with a negative balance when the company he went through got the money back from partypoker.
Edit...Didn't see your first post just the last one. Sounds like they reversed your deposit. Maybe you need to contact the company you made your deposit through.
well, I guess im done playing online poker. I was sent this email today
Hello Cody,
Thank you for your email.
I have reviewed your account and have seen that your eCheck deposits were
returned due you having entered invalid banking account details. Your eCheck
details have now been removed from the Cashier. You can re-enter your bank
account details when you wish to make another deposit. Please ensure that
you enter this information correctly. I would suggest contacting your bank
to confirm that the details you have are correct and are being entered in
the correct format.
Also, please note that as you have a negative balance, due to your previous
returned deposit, you will need to clear this negative balance before you
can start playing.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Regards,
SimonD

I checked my bank account, and the deposits I made went through and i was charged by my bank for them, yet somehow, the "support" team says they were invalid. Now, instead of being up about $50, I've lost my original investment, and now owe the site money......????? This has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I don't think I'll be playing online ever again if this is how they treat their "valued customers". Shame, I was really enjoying myself too.
Wow...you are taking this really well. I would continue to press the issue. Did you use a forum to set up account? If so, maybe they can help you sort this out. If you know the deposit went through on the banks end then they should be able to trace it to see where it went. Don't just let it go...make them be honest. Good luck!

I agree with wicked if you can get a copy of the deposit from your bank or something that is proof to show that you did get money out of your bank and take a picture and send them that shit. I'd be so pissed off if that happened to me. Screw Poker stars unless they have a good reason for doing this. 50 bucks to a poker site that big is nothing.... i feel like I'm more angry than you haha
hahaha, I guess I'm just a relaxed guy by nature. I did email support a copy of my bank statement with the charges on it to prove it was there, but still haven't gotten an email back nor my funds. Now begins the waiting game I suppose. Thanks for your replies and suggestions everybody.
PokerStars isnt some fly by night operation - so I would keep in touch with support send them all supporting information as you have done and bear with it
depositing at sites has got more difficult for US players and it has also got alot more difficult for the sites to manage as well ...
PokerStars support maynot be the fastest but they are definately good, they are definately NOT trying to fleece you ...
Generally poker rooms are daily exposed to all sorts of fraud attemps and risks with problematic deposits etc ... its not got easier for them so I think you will have gone through a semi automated process (because they dont want to loose money) and I'm sure it can be resolved
so stick with it, dont get funny with them and just keep in touch and get a good line of communication going with them
hope thats a help and when you hear back let us know how its getting on
cheers scrawnybob
