I have NEVER had quads lose to higher quads. I have never had a straight flush lose to a better straight flush or a royal flush.
So my question is - are these tables juiced to promote the bad beats? I mean, 8 years of a pretty decent amount of poker and never once have I had OR SEEN a qualifying hand.
I have had a str8 flush and lost to a higher one. I believe I was playing DoylesRoom but it was a freeroll tourney. Naturally it did not qualify for the bad beat jackpot. But I think jackpots are supposed to be rare. I don't think they would rig the site because when it pays they are going to get great publicity for it! It will lure in new plays ie new money.

i lose too on doyles room straight flush on c i ve 98 c or other one a a10 c , i lose my self control on the moment , scary doyles , want break my pc but how i can play after , its just arrived once in 7 years too
i had one, just a few days ago matter of fact. it was a freerol tourny so pretty meaningless but still drove me up the wall. i had pocket fours and the flop came 4 9 4. great i have the quads so lets see if i can make some money. i bet small hoping to keep someone in knowing the low cards might not get much action. he thinks and goes all in. i call and he turns pocket 9's only to see my quads. then as im celebrating getting a double up im interupted by a 9 on the river to give him the check.
