I have not yet used ANY software. I can see where tendencies are good to know, but I am just playing, not researching that much. I think seeing my own history on such software could be a good way to pick a few weak spots to improve on, but I know people who try to keep histories on everybody else and guess what they would do in the current situation.

Its def a must when ur multi tabling. When i look at the raisers icon and it says "rock", I know i must slow play my mid pair or fold my aj(just an example but if u understand the numbers and how to play each dif player style it helps a great deal when in tough situations.) It pretty much reads the table for u.

Replaying past tournaments IS a great feature as well. Fun and informative.

I love poker office, but just wanted get more informed about the variety of software out there, so i might try it someday.

I personally think that the software reading the table for you, means you are just a living breathing bot. To each his own, I suppose.

Be careful, with most sites, its a violation of the TOS, so you could very well get banned or have your account frozen if somehow they find out.

Thumbs up

How are you improving as a player if you are allowing a program to make your decisions? This just makes no sense to me. What happens when you are at a live table?
Maybe next you can buy a programs that completely plays your hand for you. Wouldn't that just be great?

I don't use it, but you don't let the program make your decisions, you use the program to know valuable information about the player or players you are confronted.

In the other hand, there are programs that can play for you, but are a direct violation of the TOS in every serious poker room.

Wink

I was just being sarcastic because he implies that he does not read the tables himself but rather allows the program to do it. Multi tables to the point of not being able to know what is going on in hand w/out program.

I have prospector but don't use it.
