One of my pet hates

Why oh why do poker sites insist that you must be in the seat you're actually seated ie you cannot 'centralise' your seat

Is simplicity the only legitimate reason it is so in the software?

Is there any chance next series SB we could have at least one site that offers this in the NON US series please?

ARE YOU TALKIN ABOUT SITTIN WHERE EVER YOU WANT AT THE TABLE???...OR SITTIN BOTTOM CENTER OF THE TABLE....TILT AUTOMATICALLY PUTS U BOTTOM CENTER BUT U CAN MOVE I THIONK....AS MOST SITES RIGHT CLICK ON THE SEAT U WANT AND IT SAYS SIT HERE.......NOT SURE WHAT UR GOIN FOR HERE FUTS

almost everywhere i play i can change my seat. i'm not sure about pitbull though. never have changed my seat there. unfortuneatly i can't change who i'm sitting next to though because they change with me.

I hear ya KJ, no need to shout. My aim is nothing more than to get a site I'm comfortable playing at. Yes I've investigated all that I play at but the NON US series sites , PKR, Titan, Pokerheaven its not possible, maybe someone knows different?

I figured the majority would prefer a centralised seat at a table. I know I would. As the title suggests its one of my pet hates

I'm almost sure that PKR and Titan you cannot change the site.

yep I know what you mean - personally I like being able to move / center seat at some sites and not bothered at others (that sounds wierd I guess)

I bugs me too but more at certain sites that you get stuck at a seat than others

eg. I dont mind it at PKR or ongame sites, but I dont like it so much at pokerstars

I think it has something to do with the avatars or lack of them

I do like to be able to get center especially for cash games - that makes a big difference as you can seat for position on the other stacks but be in the middle

Its nice to have it but it doesnt drive me mad if its at a site I like playing generally - thats my take on it anyway

Some sites its worse than others I agree, I guess its something we all have to deal with. When it starts to irritate me I always ask why? why do they do this? Maybe I'll never know.

Just a "tip". Textpad is an editor that have an option to capitalize or descapitalize texts.
Is as easy as just marking the text and pressing Ctrl+K

I think it just comes down to how the original software designers deisgned it - some sites will have specced it, others didnt - once it done I guess its easier for them to add features and this is something that would have been needed to have been specced in the first place

it's a bit similar to avatars for example I prefer if you cant design your avatar individually to have default ones for a given place on the table ... like ongame sites rather than a choice of 5 or 6 default ones on ipoker as this means you can end up on a table of 10 gangsters or half baseball players and half mobsters which then makes it more difficult to fix players in your head ... much easier if you can fix the granny at the table is loose, the girl in the red dress steals the blinds etc
