Yes..I've registered for this tournament myself, it's called the 'Holiday 100K' game...
I'm thinking of unregistering though, due to the fact they've now opened it up to 10,000 people max.(it was originally set at 7000 max.)

With only 540 people being paid..it would be lovely to cash in, but be mindful that only 1 in 18 will get that far

I am forever amazed that anyone would actually want to play these cattle calls. The increased numbers turns anyones odds of cashing into an extreme longshot. And the frustration of literally playing for hours and the odds stacked against your cashing.. I just don't understand it

It's for those I want to play poker, but not really, times. Your hearts not in it, you know you'll probably get interrupted. Basically, you've got to much energy or too little time to actually pay good money to play poker. As a bonus you learn bad habits playing in these massive events.

I am registered in this 2000 point FTP tourney on 12.27.08..

So far there are six FTP Pros registered.

There are currently 8,991 of 10,000 max entrants registered, and it is paying 1,800 places.

First place is paying $10,000!!! 2nd is $7,500 and 3rd is $5,000!!
