Default PokerStars - VIP 100000 Monthly freeroll for Gold

After almost 7 hours of play finally my 55 found the chipleader in the BB holding KK and was the end of the journey.
I was so so close to the final table, and would be a dream.
Finished 16 and got U$S 250, not bad, but the first place pay U$S12.500!!!

My best position of the tournament was "Your current position is 2 out of 26", but in a blind war against another player my TT found him holding JJ and sent me to fight in the middle of the table.
At this point the tournament was so so aggresive, with steals and re-steals... a very nice experience.

Congrats luz out of over 6000 entrants and 7hrs of play, i think you did very well. $250.00 is something to be proud of. I wish i had the attention span for something like this. I'm sure you will get to the big dance soon enough. If i could cash like this 3 or 4 times a week i would quit my job.

I know that Logan but the game with 16 players was long, with about 3 or 4 players around 10-12BB playing to survive. A couple of times one of these players went allin against bigger stacks and won in the river. I was in bad position to steal blinds because didn't have short or middle players to my left.
I had chipleader to my right and second to my left... bad position when you don't get cards.

I had 10BB, was in last at the moment I made my move and with ANTE and 10BB any pair is a shove.
I played very very solid, and I'm happy with my play and the final position but when you were so close to reach the FT then you feel a bitter taste in your mouth... but I remembered 4kingpoker text: "dont get bitter, get better".

Man, to be so close and not make it to the FT is the pitts. Congratulations on the win and for the patience to play that long. What a marathon! As you say, you played your best and that's what counts. Sounds like there was nothing else you could do. We're very proud of you!

Yes, you do what you need, ul to not get to the final table, but when you do all things fine you can be very proud man, after all, with 6000 players even playing perfect is not guaranteed to get this far.

    Congrats again man.
