Just played in these for the first time today, came fourth in the play money one and nowhere in the $1 buy-in. They also do a third one with 25 FPP to enter. Sounds like fun!

One question...I have zero play chips on PS!, how do I go about getting 'topped up'?
At the moment there are less people in the play money game than the $1 buyin, which I thought was quite funny

I agree, thanks for mentioning this i don't think I would have noticed at all. I'm in the buy in and the points game for tonight. I think I may give the play money one a miss though .

Also noticed the Open $50k for UK players while I was in the local tab think I'll give that one a go too.

Go to a play money "cash" table and sit down, then leave the table! That will top you up to one thousand play chips. Then you will have to win your way up to two thousand.

Nice one! Getting into the play chip game will be a doddle then!
I should think its worth trying it for the first week..due to the low turnout of people. If I don't final table at least one of them, I'll drop it from my schedule

I only have 130 points so I'm gonna give the 25FPP games a miss.
Hmmm..some of the satellite's to that 'Open $50k' next week only cost 10FPP's to enter

Played the $1 buy in and the 25FPP game last night, was taken out of the buy in by some fool who thought it clever to call a big pre-flop raise when they had 2 3 of clubs they then went on to hit a straight on the river. I had pocket Q's at the time.

In the 25FPP I did better and came 4th so not a bad night.

We should keep a tally of who has had the best finishes in these 3 daily games.
A little bit of friendly competition never hurt anyone

I'll be just playing the $1 buyin for the last three weeks, but I may be tempted to try the points game on the last day of the month(to try n get one over on ye's!)

Woohoo!
I came first in Saturdays $1 game...beating 147 other peeps to claim $27 and 20 league points.
(by my calculations I should be just inside the top 25, with a few days to go)

Anyone else still playing these games???

I'm chuffed that I now have a regular game to play on PS, plus the fact that i'm building up a huge ream of 'notes' on the players
