They are back -Titan 5th March Game

Very interesting situation at Titan today. There were only 9 entries with about 3 minutes to go before the tournament was scheduled to start (thinking it was going to be cancelled) - and then all of a sudden there were 21 entries - most with screen names I have not seen before, with the exception of one who I thought was banned (and had only 3 posts since Jan.). I couldn't find any forum members with the same name as the screen names, with the exception of one who hasn't posted since Nov. 2007. Being a Crazier Canuck, I am sorry to say that he is a Canadian and that there were also 3 or more Canadians registered who I didn't recognize.
Therefore, I am assuming that we have ineligible players and password stealers still entering our tournaments, and to be blunt I detest these people stealing money and points from forum members.
If my observations are incorrect then I apologize to those mentioned, however, if they are correct, I hope you are satisfied in being such ignorant and inconsiderate players.

that makes me even less inclined to go through the drama of setting up freerolls ;-(

if our $1 buy-ins are getting infultrated with a field of 20 ... especially as I only put the password up an hour before the game - then I dont know what to do

damn sure I'm not going to make a rod for my own back if it means non members get money they shouldnt - and also its obviously very disrespectful to legit members who do make the effort

this always goes round in circles - shame some people have to mess it up for those good members - I as disappointed as you are

That is frustrating. Is there some way to punish those people who enter private tournies without invitation? Would Bodog administer some type of account ban or suspension? I think I read somewhere that that can happen.

CrAzY007STeAuA was in the game today but I read on Non-USA league stats page that he was Banned.But I guess there are still leaks and some-one of about 21 players gave him the PW.It,s hard to stop but with only 21 players maybe it could be figured out by nationality.I have a screen shot of the game list if you wish to see who else didn,t qualify ?

The last two players are from Rumania, and I think that someone ask to BettyScumpirca about her screen name here, but never answered.
Probably the password is posted in some kind of forum... and that explains why the "players" appears at last time all together

If the site has player to player transfer option do not have the money in the to prize pool and just transfer the payouts manually. More work, but then you can at least make sure anyone not in it does not receive any winnings they should not be entitled to, just skip over them and move the next person up.

Don't know how they are setup, so no idea if that would work or not. Just throwing it out there just in case it would.

Would a solution be to make the buy-in a little higher maybe $2 - $3 and no money added, then put the money that is being added at the moment to the games into the overall prize fund for the league. Then extend the league prizes to the top ten finishers?
