Siders

Siders Purpose

For 4KP members, the opportunity to play another open game occurring at almost the same time issue than our usual league game and to be part of a dedicated Leader Board.

Siders Rules

The players that want to be part of the leader board have to sign-up in that thread and give their different akas for me to establish a correct leader board. As Merge and Cake are lodging multiple rooms, some may have to post all their akas depending on which room they’re playing from. The sign-up period will last till the end of the last season to the first 2 weeks of the new season. Exceptionally, as we will be running this for the first time this season, i will add all members till the end of week 5 (August the 15th).
All our side games will occur first during the Euro League games and will be played on Merge, Cake or FullTilt Network, which offer games starting nearly the games (post 7pm GMT).
The point system will remain the same as we’re using for our league games. But as we aren’t be able to play every tournament, only top 6 results will count toward the LB. As I have no way to retrieve all infos by myself, members will have to post them within the 24 hours after the end of the game in that thread, with a thumbnail.

Let’s say that we will probably run the side games at Cake and FullTilt while we’re playing at PKR as some of us have troubles running PKR and Merge at the same time. Here are the selected tournaments, with some information about them, which I will complete in time. All times are GMT like the 4kp schedule, for an easier overview:

Some more tournaments could be added to that list, (i already got some other listed) if we ever find some that stick to the statements which are:

• Buy-ins can’t exceed $5.50, and will usually be $2.20 to $3.30
• No Rebuy / Addon tournaments.
• No turbos or satellites tournaments.
• Game will start between 30mn prior to the league game to 30mn after its start.

Siders Additionnals

As this is the beginning of "Siders", we will have to test it and see if we can make some improvements.
My first idea was to create a fee to enter the LB, to reward the winners at the end of the season, but as SB told me, we should make a try first and then see later if people are ready to put some $ in the LB.
