MATRIX at FullTilt - quite an interesting format

Tried my first MATRIX on FT.

$2.00 + $0.25

Match 1: 3rd place ($0.72)
Match 2: 1st place ($1.80)
Match 3: 3rd place ($0.72)
Match 4: 7th place ($0.00)

MATRIX: 2nd place ($1.08)

Quite an interesting format. For those that have not heard of it, you basically play the same 8 people on four separate tables. Each table is its own SNG with top 3 places paid, and then you get Matrix points for the MATRIX. One point for each person you outlast on each table, two points for anyone you knock out, and two bonus points if you win a table. The MATRIX pays out top 3 also based on MATRIX points.

I was fairly happy with my first attempt.

I tried it once at lower stage ($1.25) and finished 2nd either (check out the picture).
Was a fun game but i can't plan on playing that kind of game too often nor i won't find any space on my screen for my private games.

I'm looking forward to play a $1 or $2 HORSE matrix but it usually don't fill.

Anyway, hope that we'll meet-up at one of them.

I could be addicted to these. So nice to be able to multi-table but play against same people.

Results of 2nd MATRIX on FT.

$1.00 + $0.25 buy-in

Match 1: 1st place ($0.90)
Match 2: 2nd place ($0.54)
Match 3: 7th place (-)
Match 4: 9th place (-)

MATRIX: 2nd place ($0.54)

The 9th place finish was in way ahead and guy hit runner runner. The 7th place finish was a lost ace PP vs. AK.

Overall through two tournaments now:

1st: (2)
2nd: (1)
3rd: (2)
Out of money: (3)

Matrix 1st: (0)
Matrix 2nd: (2)
Matrix 3rd: (0)
Matrix Out of money: (0)

Invested: $3.00 + $0.50

Won: $6.30

But most importantly, having a blast :-)

Very strange format, does FT still do these and what buyins do they range from?

So you pay in $2 for example and 4 tables open up? Whats the traffic like for these sngs?

No problem, you're welcome.

I don't really know what is the traffic for such games, but it usually fills quickly. I'm almost sure you won't wait 2mn before its start, depending on the level of BI you practicing.
BI goes from $1.25 to $2190, which means that you may find your level.

Well I knew about these games, Spo played them a while back but after I saw Hoje's post, I had to play one . 2.2$ cost me , and I won a total of 6.84$
Won 2, finished 3rd in the other 2..

I did play another one. Actually 2. I finished 1st in a 1$ one and then 3rd in a 2$ one.
Dunno what to say about the euro league... I downloaded PKR in the past and I don't really like it, I have titan on but never played there so no $$

If you ever need some $$ at Titan, and if there is a way to do it, i'm ready to send you some ($20 for example, and then you could send me back the elevator at PS )
I first have to check out if Titan allows money transfer and i'll tell you how if you're still interested.
