    Default Stars 250k

I've been waiting for this the whole week. The 250k on stars for only 10$. I must say I'm pretty happy with myself considering the very large field and the play level. 2645th out of 28000 is not bad and I doubled my buyin (I really wanted more than that).. OK I bragged enough!! Has anyone else played it?

Nice 1 Kingmotan, the $250k is a hard game to play, for the first hour it's packed with not so good players a lot of them have got in through satellites and some of the play is a little wild.

Once the first breaks over you seem to get 1 or 2 really good players on the table, with that combination it's not an easy game to make the money, well played.

Tnx. I had a SUPERNOVA guy at my table that donked out before me
The play wasn't that bad but yes, a lot of them are just idiots. Well I have bigger plans for next week.
I'm extremely proud to say that I railled one of my fellow Romanians and he finished in 3rd for 12000$ . I went to sleep at 7:30 am

Congrats!!! Quite impressive. Those large fields take a lot of patience, great play, and some luck. Very nice job!!

Nice job, Mo. I'm sure you are disappointed, but it's still a very good win in that huge field. I've never played that tourney myself.

Did you take that ss when you went out (2hrs 41 minutes)?

Yea, ss was taken few minutes after i went out. Tourney lasted a little over 8 hours but...
If you're still in it you can't think it's late or that you're tired. When you see that 1st pays 24k, you feel adrenaline running through ur veins .. Well I don't know about the high rollers in here but that's how I feel

I can't even imagine me playing 8 hours, probably cause i have work on day after, or i could probably.
Must be a great way to learn patience, isn't it Master Yogi Mo.

When I first started playing poker online I would make a point of satelliting into that tournament (at that time it was the Sun.$100K) and looked forward to it a couple of days in advance..... that's until I played it that is... and took a HUGE donking in early levels, lol.(it was from a player on my left who'd been telling me about all the donks in it and I recognized them from a poker forum).
I tried it a few more times after that, cashing in it a few times but never winning more than a couple/few times my buyin. It would be nice to go deep in that one (big payout for cheap buyin), something simliar to the $22 DoubleDeuce on Fulltilt (although maybe not as good of play... although the DD isn't the greatest by any means... but like someone above mentioned, you really get a wide mix of players >> some very good ones and some really bad ones).

I tried playing this again a month or so ago but didnt' cash. I might just have to give it another shot now after reading your post here.

    GL in the next one!
