Sorry, Motan. I was being sarcastic and going along with Bob's fun way of assessing the situation.

In reality, I was hanging on grimly hoping to hit some decent cards. I tried a few bluffs and big bets which helped me to survive a bit longer, but eventually I was squeezed out in fifth place.

I prefer Bob's version of events, though...

lol it workedout much better in my head

I think the crucial hands were your slow playing of 88 hitting trips on the flop making a FH on the river but getting all-in taking out 3 players (all with AA, KK and QQ)

then the way with suited connectors everytime you either hit a flush or a straight and the table fell into every trap you laid

its really not the same making 5th but an achievement non the least if you dont get cards
