Ok, I will use this thread. My name is in the hat for the full tilt OFC $1000 freeroll
being held Saturday March 6th 2010 at 2pm. I am playing for 4kingpoker.

It won't be my only $1000 freeroll of the day, so I might have to split my time an hour and a half into the tourney. But compared to some on this site who toggle up to 24 games at a time, I should be able to manage. Will try to come back with something for this site. No guarantees in poker. 2274 contestants so far, and I am sure it will continue rising.
For a previous OFC entry I have been invited to a fulltilt freeroll which starts an hour before our freeroll. only 25 entrants in that and 3 winners, so I will probably have better luck there. I can consider that my warm up game, .

I've registered for the freeroll tonight. I notice it has a max of 4500 players. Never had much luck in the OFC so far but never say never.

I know others play for 4kp and have done a lot better. The buy in tomorrow might be a better game.

I got knocked out of my $100 warm-up freeroll. Came in 23rd out of 25 players. Only 6 players were playing with the remaining 19 players sitting out. 1 player not sitting out at my table and he bumps me out of the game,

I am out of the OFC freeroll for 4kingpoker. I lasted an hour and 54 minutes. 3649 entrants. 153 get paid, I placed 610th. My 99 losing to a QJ when a jack popped up on the river.

Did alot better on my other $1000 freeroll. Only 211 entrants and 45 get paid.
Ended up 24th place that paid $9. Pocket 6's losing to a 7 that came up on the board that helped pair a guys 7.

I can't get too bummed, as I have won all four of my sportsbets today. I risked a total of $93 and came out $53 ahead. I seem to make money sportbetting about 5 times faster than every buck I make playing poker.

Todays game had me finishing up in like 1100 place, not good but to me not so bad with all the people that sign up and the usual all in fest for the first 30 minutes, hell just to survive that is an acomplishment

Wanted to enter the OFC buy-in tourney with the $20 winnings from this months posting. I looked on full tilt and balance is still at nada. Any other pokersite(except Doyle's) and I have $80-$120 sitting around doing nothing for times like this.

Yeah petey, OFC freeroll is a donkfest. It also only pays less than 5% of entrants, which is not the usual type of tourneys I enter. I will not be entering next month's OFC because it is at nordic bet. I am not going to open a new account just to enter a $500 freeroll.

Hi gang.
First the concept is clearly a good concept as it would allow only forum poker players to enter the game, but i have to say with all my past experiences that it's not a game that fit me. Many reasons for that, time, day, crew and mostly will.
I think the buy-in game is usually a better spot for players as it offers great added prizes and lower field, but as i said already i can't spend 5 to 6 hours playing poker on sunday as on saturday.
