I went up & down like a yo-you in this game. AK lost a big pot to 99, but then K7s doubled me up vs AQ... 99 < TT for another big pot (allin pre)... and a few others. Brutal game for me... but always is in OFC games.
The one on Bodog was funny sort of. It was my very first hand... 3 players limped, I had Ac9c in HJ so I called as well. BTN raises it up ~5x, I'm planning on folding obviously BUT two of the EP players call so I come along too (there's just tooooo many chips in the pot now.. I can't fold, they've priced me in). Flop comes pretty much rags but with two clubs. It's checked to me & I choose to check..BTN leads out around 1/3-1/2 pot, it's folded to me & I put out a pot-sized raise and BTN flats. Turn is a club, completing the flush... I have the NUTS!!!... I check, BTN bets out & I check-raise him allin & he calls... w KK (even though the 3rd flush card came in).. NICE!!!!! Weeeee... THEN... OMG... not used to playing on Bodog (I hate that site) and also having ALOT of other tables open on other sites (& the 4king on Bodog), I look closer (before river is dealt... this is all happening in split-second)... damn it!!! I don't have Ac9c... I frigg'n have Ac9s... holy crap!!! Now I'm only drawing to the flush &/or 3 Aces. I wiff the river & am out, LOL. That's the first time I've ever misaken a spade for a club. I've read posts suggesting the use of a 4-colour deck (actually just read one last week where the guy said, "Oh you really should get accustomed to using a 4-colour deck because there'll be a time when you mess up because you're on too many tables & it'll cost you dearly). This was the fist time it happened to me... sigh. It was funny when it happened though - - - looking at my hand & seeing.. OMG.. I don't have the nuts.. not even close!! I have Ace high, LOL.
