Hi i did not get password for todays freeroll on pdc poker at 5pm eastern time.

the tourny at carbon today is a "TEAM ONLY" event...so you have to be on a team to play it.....and you have to have 10 posts to get any passwords at all for any of our leagues team or not....so it isnt likely that you missed the PM because your box was full...you probably never got it to begin with because you lack the post count

yep basically the forum runs on the basis of members need 10+ decent posts
to get anything ...

passwords for the regular league games, to be able to join a team, to get a bumper sticker

decent posts must be 2 sentences / 2 lines min per post and relevant to thread

this qualifier is pretty low bar to clear ... although alot seem to fail miserably because they cant be bothered to make the effort to either post or make half decent posts

NB. I DO go through the quality of the posts as I go (for late password requests especially if I've got time to deal with last minute late comers) and I also go through posts if members report quality of posts or whole posts of members ...

this generally means I cull down back to under 10 posts (so they dont get passwords) or totally delete them if they are all dross

this means that members who have made 10 junk posts or 5 junk and 5 ok will find they may get passwords for a week or two and then dont ... its down to those members to sort their posts out and make some that are worth reading

the rules are pretty clear so if some members get away with duff posts for a week or two that doesnt mean they will forever ...

IN AN IDEAL WORLD

members who have made 10 decent posts would carry on posting and be more active ... but when in the past we have tried to "force" encourage more posts by increasing the requirement or making it a "made in the last x time" all that has happened is idiots make x more posts and just waste everyones time

we have a low bar because those that will post something worth reading after that point would and will do it because they want to and not because they have to

any suggestions to get members more consistently active would be gratefully received

I think I've got my ten posts, is there a special requirement for the 7:00 FT vs PS? I'm pretty new with the postings and the forum and just wondering is there anything else I would have to do?
