I feel that Pacific has great prizes and exciting freerolls. However, I always experience the same problem with them. They continually kick me out, sometimes I'm holding AA or KK and that's greatly disappointing.
Initially, I thought it was because I had dial up. Then I switched to DSL - same problem. It doesn't happen at other sites, so I've concluded it's not my internet connection. I'm just wondering has anyone else experienced the same type of problem.
Other than that, like I said they have some extremely rewarding tournaments if you can play all the way through without getting kicked out. Thanks for listening and look forward to the sharing of your experiences with Pacific.
I used to, but nothing in a few months since they did there last software upgrade. My only thought would be to try to uninstall it, and then try to reinstall it. It can't hurt.

I like that Pacific's site is very simple looking- not too busy with fancy graphics and such. But what I don't like is that they don't show players' hole cards when people are all-in (like they do on poker.com). I like that you don't have to wait very long for a sit-n-go tourney to fill up like you do at some newer sites that don't have as many players. They also get your check to you pretty quick when you cash out. OK,so I've only cashed out once, but it was quick!!!
Hey snowboardking- I have seen you all over the internet lately!!!
I think they've upgraded the backroom end a while back so the advice to strip off the software etc and start again is probably a good one -
I'm not techie but it always amazes me how many of these so called IT help desks after asking a load of pointless questions about settings etc just end up telling you unplug it all and plug it back in or to uninstall and set up account again.
The bottom line with pacific is that the software is ok and graphics are so-so but your play at pacific for the easy competition - it's a ring game players dream
there are a couple of other sites that are nearly on a par - party and royal vegas sping to mind
the new kid on the block - with equally poor players but with much nicer playable software is poker heaven
personally I still like all the pokerroom skins and as they've grown there are more weak players than a year or two ago - and Im really comfortable with the graphics - just about right
personally I really don't get on with fancy avatars and bright and flashy sites - I need a more chilled and simple table to sit at - then again other players really like full tilt with its cartoon and wouldnt have it any other way.
Thats the tricky thing trying to write the reviews honestly but also personally - to me party isn't great but I know people love it and if its there first experience they judge all others compared to party - for me I compare everything to pokerroom
I mate of mine had real problems with titan software which his PC really didnt like - I've had no problems - I think alot of it is down to slight miss-matches with hardware and software so a site may be fine for 99% but not 100% and someone else might have a problem with a totally different site.
I'm still in the process of sorting out a tournie at pacific but really if you play a good ring game then you really should check out pacific.
I have to miss out on the games at Poker Heaven. Something about I cannot get into it because you are allowed only 4 account on the whole system. I don't even remember what they all are.

Likes Pacific Poker very much. Now they have multitabling thasts great. There are many fish, maybe some from the .biz department playing themselves active. Also I like the bonus tables where people pay 50 cent each hand to win ekstra prizes. I never pay those 50 cent but many times people arde chasing some river just for the bonus, so I think that it make my chances better. One thing i miss at pacific is money transfer from there casino and bookmaker. It have to go through neteller. That makes no sense as it is the same company.
Pacific is much improved. I like the new software and the periodical disconnect problems from 8-9 months ago and longer seem to have been resolved for a while now (I don’t experience them any longer anyways).
Also I don't think anyone mentioned it but Pacific Poker is one of the few sites that support Mac users, when people visit there site with a Mac computer the site detects it and brings them to a no download version of the room.
