Default Please can someone explain about earning party points via raked hands.

I learned that at nl50, I need to play 67 raked hands to earn 10 points.

But, what specifically counts as a raked hand? Is it every hand that goes on while i'm sat at a table? Is it only hands that I at least call the bigblind for? Does it count as extra hands for each card I see, like the turn, and the river?

    Lightbulb I'll try to explain....

They certainly don't make it easy to understand this...
But here is the explanation on the Party Poker client...
How to earn PartyPoints on cash poker games

This table shows how many raked hands of each stake level you need to play to earn 10 points.
Please note, we do not award PartyPoints for real money play on our private tables.

    Limit games Limit Raked hands needed for 10 PartyPoints $0.02/$0.04 700 $0.05/$0.10 530 $0.10/$0.20 500 $0.15/$0.30 360 $0.25/$0.50 200 $0.50/$1 57 $1/$2 57 $2/$4 18 $3/$6 14 $5/$10 13 $10/$20 12 $15/$30 12 $20/$40 12 $30/$60 11 $50/$100 7 $100/$200 6 $250/$500 6
    No-limit and pot-limit games Blinds Raked hands needed for 10 PartyPoints $0.01/$0.02 750 $0.02/$0.04 580 $0.05/$0.10 380 $0.10/$0.25 100 $0.25/$0.50 67 $0.50/$1

So from that you will see when you play a limit game at 10c/20c blinds you have to take part in 500 raked hands to earn 10 Party Points. That is blooming hard work for very little reward. It's a bit better with no limit and pot limit - you have to take part in 100 raked hands at 10c/25c.

You are counted as taking part in a raked hand if you are still involved when the flop is shown.

    Hope this helps.
