If people can cheat, they will. Period. All software and sites collecting player information or displaying it should be banned. All bots or hacks, etc. should be permanently banned and software and servers, etc. independently audited by a respected third party. Otherwise, the chance exists that one can be "cheated" in one way or another playing online and often times never know it's even happening. Even at the most "respected" poker sites. The only way it will ever be regulated in a way I could totally trust myself is if the US legalizes and regulates online poker. Even then......Anyway, I would suggest keeping the high stakes play to when you can face the dealer and your opponent(s) in person. At least that way, it's real poker and it still doesn't mean you won't get cheated.

$60,000 gulp. I hope that was play money. Absolute has done fine by me, but I am a micro stakes player and do not mind at all if I lose it all. I have a baseball cap to show for all the time I have put in there. Won it on their Poker2nite promo. Not my fav site, tho.

Last time when AB scams were exposed, it scared the players playing across all the websites. I hope everything is working fine now.

This happened b4 UB and absolute merged. Giving your timeframe and speak of owners playing, I don't believe you, wouldn't you have gotten a lawyer if your such a "high stakes player
Ilost a couple grand and was immensely paid back, books, interest, promos, etc. Graywolf is not an owner as I know him personally. don't get me wrong they have to earn peeps trust back but the superuser inc occurred over a year ago. im no fanboy as I play at tilt more than anything but people have to realize cheating comes with online poker. I've been paid back on multiple times on stars and tilt for people colluding and not to mention all the software out, try bringing a pda with a database of hands and odds calculator to the casino when you play live.lol. All forms of cheating imo.

I know I wouldnt be playing low stakes for pennies or just posting in forums if I felt someone owed me a lump of 60k - I'd be hunting their a** down until they settled up

that just doesnt make sense to me but there we are

^ exactly...... Hey, I used to play at ~$10/20 and was cheated out of ~30buyins on UB..... now I play penny poker??? If OP was rolled for med-high stakes, wtf would they be doing playing on the site that cheated them & have moved down to super micros?? (wouldn't they be spending their playing time still at higher stakes on other site(s)?).
    ..... maybe not...
It does seem odd to post for a first post about a situation that went down a long time ago.

I was just starting to get my feet wet with online poker, and crossing over from the casino version of online gambling when the Ap scandal broke out,YIKES, it almost made me run back to those cheating 1 armed bandits, lol. But really, so i stayed away from AP because i just didn't feel right for some reason but i then started playing at UB not knowing they were in cahoots with each other and honestly i never had any problems with UB so if it wasn't for how many rooms i'm signed up with allready i would have no issue with giving AP a chance now.I think everyone deserves a second chance at least, hell i been given so many extra chances in this lifetime that it's unbelieveable
Needless to say, but like others have mentioned, if someone took me for $60 let alone $60,000 i would not rest up in the micro rooms of the same site that burned me especially, i would be on a hunt for my cash
