Default How do you fold KK

I just can't fold KK and there must be times when you need to. Like tonight at our PKR game.

rgchan raises 300 from mid position I re raise 1000 he goes all in. I don't stop to think and put it all in.

Rg shows AA. With another ace on the flop I have no chance.

I'm so mad at myself. This unfortuatly wasn't my only mistake in tonights game tonight, I earlier played a pair of nines hard only to muck then to a pair of jacks. again against rg.

Advice to self Think, Think then think again before going all in.

it would take a tremendous, specific read to actually do it.

but i think there is a LOT of truth to the fact that a 3-bet or a 4-bet all-in like tht is AA about 95 percent of the time.

lol what? You started good, it would take couple k hands with someone to have some pretty specific stats on him so you could know a 4bet = AA (even though it could easily = kk) (but it's Rg, he never has AA there. usually it's Q10 suited)
Now the not so true part. a 3bet or 4bet shove = AA 95% of the time? Yeaa, if you play 10nl on stars with 8 BOTS. I 3bet light all the time as a resteal for example or I 3 bet-shove if the button has a very big att to steal with hands like 910s, qj, A10 and ofcourse 23o. The 4bet means a more narrow range of hands but still... that would also include KK, QQ and sometimes AK imHo...

Alnoble the only advice I can give you is BE HAPPY if you get ur money allin preflop with KK!

You aren't playing the 4K games then. Could mean suited 96 or any A unsuited.

you're right. i'm talking cash games ... and i can tell you, its 100 percent of the time when i have KK and i repop a raised pot. IF he goes over the top of me, he has AA. i should have added, if he is deep stacked. if he's shortstacked, all bets are off.

10 players table. I am on the button. I have KK.
What is the chance that one of the players on the left has an AA?

4,39% of the time you will run KK into AA when playing 10 handed. Notice that it's a 0,4% difference from 9 handed. The probability of AA and KK being dealt in the same hand is 0.1995%

Just hit the Fold button. lol Very hard to fold pre-flop. I had KK early on in a tournament. Only bet 3XXBB to see a flop of 2-7-Ace. The player raised BIG so i laid down the pocket Kings and showed them. And everyone gasped,,, lol
