JJ is a pretty tricky hand to play, late in a tourny, unless i'm deepstacked i will normally push with them. early on i play them with a small raise and check/fold to any over cards. cash games position and your opponents should determine the way you play the hand. most times there is going to be an overcard on the flop so the descision making is tough post flop pretty often.
I just got a JJ, and had to decide whether to fold and be ITM or risk being out of the tourney because a higher face card comes up. Folded the JJ , the button has gone around the table and I am in the money. If I get JJ again, I will risk it all, to have as few bettors as possible.
Check this guy out he will impove your play with JJ no end.
personally i often play jj like a middle pocket pair try n hit a set if not i may fold to any over card or if the guy fires out after the turn aswell i give it up like its pocket 2's
If any over cards show on the board you are usually behind as a large pecentage of callers will hold a Q K or A in a full table. You have a better chance with them short handed or late into a tournament.
I tend to play them aggresive like Aces Kings or Queens preflop and C-bet the flop over card or not. If called and there is an over card I am done. turn and river for me depend on the board and who else is in the hand with me as to how I continue, I really don;t get very attached to them at all anymore but will try to take the pot preflop or on the flop if I can.

The trouble with J's is that you'll have an overcard on flop in 58%.
Which means that you'll need to be lucky while holding them. My advice would be, play it cheap and go get your flop for few.

Yes but not having an over card on the flop isn't necessarily a good thing. Seeing a flop of 6 7 8 , 4handed will probably put your Jacks behind. There are possible sets, straights or flush draws so if you see a wet flop like that don't go all crazy because you have the over pair...
