Similar Hands
Do you find yourself getting dealt a "regular" hand more than any other online? I can tell you this - I get dealt 5-10 more than any other hand at Pokerstars. I don't play at other sites too often, but 5-10 does not pop that often on these other sites. Gotta wonder if you are "categorized" by PS by the most often hand you get dealt. Just wondering...

Can't say I've noticed that. But what I do notice, which is again, probably just numbers being numbers is that I get the same hands on different tables.
I usually play two tables at a time. Nothing fancy. But it's several times an hour that I get identical hands. Not always the same suit mind you, but the same cards. And not always bad cards, just the other day I had AA on both tables at once. Of course I only went 50/50 on the AA.

My regular bb hand is 42o on merge sites.
On cake and merge it seems that I get strings of hands with 2's then 3's then 8's. Don't notice that kind of pattern on stars or ap.

2 months ago, during the online tournaments, on three tables, I received in one moment KK. And only 1 pair was a winner.

I don,t believe there are any patterns. You can,t let it play on your mind. Like everyone else I will get a run of hands like 2-8, 3-7 4-9 4-8 etc for maybe 20 hands, The worst thing after being so patient through all those hands is finally picking up a pair of QQ,s and only to lose to the BB,s pocket Aces. Now that is frustrating. lol

I think that alot of it has to do with the gazillion of hands we see online vs. real life games, the pace being so much faster and so many hands being dealt but i wouldn't think there is really any set patterns that can be figured out, except for the one that says when i am in the blinds then i shall be dealt 27o and 38o respectivly, lol

That happens all the time to me, you finally get that good hand and no matter what it seams someone else has better. I'm always tempted to push hard because I've waited so long but now I've learnt to step back and re think before acting and usually try to be realistic about the pot size and the value of my hand.
Rarely works however I usually blow it.
