Ok here is the situation.
I am on a 9 person table, few shortstacks. I buy in halfway (25$) on a 0.25/0.50 c table.
I raise to 1.75$ with k j and i get the big blind who calle (shorstack). 10 3 4 is the flop.
Bam!! he bets 2$ into the 3.75$ pot. He has 6.25 left having started with 10$. I play a lot of heads up and I know when I am playing noobs because they want to steal a pot by leading out. I waited a second and I shoved. He proceeded to fold.
He could have actually had a hand, but I just supposed he didn't because of the way everybody slow plays knowing that there is certainly going to be a ''continuation bet'' which I am very against btw. I also figured he's trying to steal the pot since every $ is cruciallly important to a shortstack.
A big fan of leading out hands is Phil Hellmuth. He says it situates him where he is at in the hand.
What do you guys think of leading out, is it better to do it when u have a hand vs a big stack or small stack ? When you don't have a hand vs a big stack or small stack ? And if the person calls your leadout bluff, do you stop or fire on the turn.
Would you leadout in heads up ?? Basically when is the best time to lead out with or withour a hand.
Tx a lot
