Chat at 4kp games

I wanted to post this here incase others think I'm ignoring them or being rude when they make a comment in the chat to me on 4kp games and don't get a reply.

One of the things I do enjoy about 4kp games is the chat

Generally I do reply and join in the chat but not as much as others as I can't type and concentrate on my game at the same time. (Age getting to me). But at Bodog and Cake I rarely contribute due to my setup for those games.

Because of the late night nature of the games I play up in my bedroom using an old laptop and my bedroom TV as a monitor. Trouble is the keyboard is hard to access in this setup and the on screen one I installed is flaxy at times.

Considering getting a wireless key board for next season.

I know what you mean. With my physical problems, sitting at a desk is quite out of the question if I want to use the computer for any length of time. My hubby built me a contraption for next to my easy chair in the living room so I could use my computer to keep my mind busy when my body doesn't want to cooperate.

One of the things I purchased for this set-up is a mini-keyboard that has a mouse pad on it also. It's about the size of a small laptop, but very light. It has a really long cord on it and may be something you might be able to utilize. I got mine from Dell, but I'm sure they are around other places. Maybe this might help.

I use it on my lap and it works great, except for an occasional stray click or two on the mouse buttons that like to hit my belly once in a while (or my belly is hitting it..lol).

Anyway, maybe this could help.

I'm afraid is more a case of laziness with me and of course the late hour. Only have the light of the screen to work with as other half gets upset.

Mind you small keyboard and mouse pad does sound a good idea. Cable lenght not an issue as I use a wired mouse already. Have to have a look on the net to see whats available.

Last night I was really tired and let your captain con me into calling his AA so not on long. Wasn't on my best game.

I got solutions for you Al.
What's about pushing your half to sleep into your visitor bedroom when it's a poker night. Or why don't you buy a soundproof pillow.

I've already got a head lamp but it's stored deep inside our trailer tent and until the new season starts it's staying there. (Ever tried to open up a comway trailer tent in a small yard)

I'll just come to the forums afterwards and bemoan my bad luck because I was half a sleep at the time saves any expense

Al you can't suspect me of such a behaviour.
Afterall english and french are friends for more than a century now, and we will probably notice it during next rugby game closing the 6 nations tournament.
We love to hate eachother and that's a common point of view.

I personally howl at the silvery moon and play poker in the brightest light possible, how else do you see when the girls clothes come all the way off
