The Almighty U.S.A. Dollar .....

Today the Canadian dollar was equal with the US dollar.They say come June the Canadian dollar may be 5 cents better than the almight US Dollar.The spelling Dollar is weird imo but comes from the Spanish language.
But it affects us all.I used to love when the Canadian Dollar was 88 cents US, When i withdrew $50 from a poker site I would get $62 into my Moneybookers account.That was great but now I,m losing getting $49 into my account.Most poker sites deal in US Dollar exchange for all there games.So even for a free roll If as a Canadian I would win my $$ plus 12% on top for the exchange.But not no more.Something to think about..

I did not know that sir, i mean in here we spell "Dolar" with 1 L, interesting.

About the exchange rate, you are right, we never coment this in the forum but value of $ it means different for different countries.

Example, for me $1 US Dollar means $12 pesos (my country coin), wich means from every $100US dollars i can exchange for $1200 pesos, maybe for USA $100 US dollars are not much but in here $1200 pesos are like one week of salary for average worker, so the exchange rate it is important for me, last december exchange was 13x1, now is 12x1 wich means last december $100 was 1300 pesos, in 4 months go down 100 pesos (with 100 pesos can buy 2 pizzas or put a quater- tank of gasoline to car, buy 2 tickets for movie theater, 1 kg of meat or 2kg of fish, etc, etc.).

Neteller charge me $6 dollars every time use the card to withdraw $ and local ATM charge 30 pesos for the exchange.

So it is something to think about.

And this is $US dollars, if talk about poker sites that use Euros then is another nightmare because need to change first Euros to US dollars then to pesos, plus all the exchange fees is not worth it, reason why i stop playing in euro sites that only use Euros.

It looked as though the Euro was going to rule the world, but recently Greece seem to have screwed that up!

With the way our economy is going here in the states, we will be lucky if Logans peso isn't soon worth double our dollar.This is another one of the reasons why the gov should not only allow online gambling and transactions but they could also tax it, then everyone is happy, at least i would be, knowing i didn't have to jump thru hoops to move some money around and then our economy could maybe make a comeback to be a shadow of what we were once
