I had an email today to say the site has now closed.
Lets hope it doesn't take too long for them to send me my funds.

I have to confess that I lost track what was what with them -

so from memory didnt easyplaypoker (then on merge) amalgamate with cashisking to then go onto the ipoker network ???

so this is after they moved / merged that cashisking has gone under ?

thankfully I didnt get involved with them - and again its a bit of lesson in not jumping in to new new sites on networks just for the hell of it

Back to the too many forums and too many sites comments...

Hope i get my scrawny 5.67 bux out of there, how are they "manually" going to do this??? if u didn't invest via netteller u can't get it out via netteller and if you made the direct transfer from EPP to CIK...which facility they so kindly offered us to take our money...where do they transfer it to now??? WASS???

I've got 18$ with them that was moved from easyplay and that's just what I lelt in after coming second i the forumseries buy tourney. I'll still email them for it though.

That was way to fast, almost like it was meant to happen, just saying.If they were in such a tight spot financially that they were close to shutting the doors, why in the hell would they leave Merge and the USA $$$ to go to the ipoker software and even less $$ because of no Americans? Sounds way to fishy to this cat.

I agree

at the moment unsurprisingly the general direction of poker industry is towards mergers and aquisition and I think that is more likely to continue than to find increasing numbers of skins contributing anything much to the market

unless a site has something new to bring to the market that is

PKR obviously had something very different and came to the market and succeeded

I think Merge Network will probably get stronger with the addition of Players only and sportsbook

but generally I dont think that middling and smaller sites and networks are going to grow IF they only try to do it just but adding more and more skins

IMVHO there still seem to be alot of people with more money than sense coming into poker market way way too late and thinking they can just bolt onto a good network (like merge or cake or ipoker) and magically build a profitable business and get new players ... it just doesnt work like that

and some are going to stop throwing money at their skin after a while

on the easyplay / cashisking thing - yet definately looks off to make this move so quick and go under near enough in the same breath
