If you have read any of my recent posts then you will know that I am in a bit of a rut/funk/bad run/whatver you wanna call it, at the moment so I want your honest opinion on this. Would you have folded this????

N.B - the tourney is still goin and I am still in it as we speak so I know its not the end of the world, but it has decimated by chip stack.

You said it right... your just running bad it would be hard to get away from that hand but you had the chips to gamble, on that flop I may have folded early in a large MTT to wait for a beter situation.

What hands could you put them on?

As you have two aces ace king/queen would be a action hand that would be low on the list.

K 10/ K J quite posible as its a low fee buy in.

A set very likely if it was a higher stake tourney.

KQ very likely.

J 10 very likely.

Rag K suited fairly likely

Mid pair likely

So with monkey maths a pritty even mix of hands beating or lossing to you.

In this kind of tourney you could be up against anything so calling with top or 1 overpair on the flop is very understandable.

Because of this mentality I would suggest doing what I do now, I only play frezzout tourneys or cash live games and try not to play small buy in MTT's and SNG's.

The play is much beter you can analize the play in a much more straight forward logical manor.
