Oddsmaker....crooks

Don't get involved with oddsmaker .......bunch of crooks.......I won $256 there without depositing anything and even if I put a deposit in they won't let me withdraw using neteller or moneybookers.

I can with draw using a check .....which costs $45 or using bank wire whick requires me to make another deposit, which i am not happy about knowing that they will put some other obstacle in the way.

They are crap ....don't go near the site.

i would NOT deposit either, just to make a withdraw. i say go for the check, pay the fee and get out of there. i also would not give them any further information and then would plan on deleting my account when transaction completed.

They not let you withdraw with Moneybokers or Neteller because they not use those, some time back look the site but never play it because only deposit methods are creditcards, echecks, ups, transfers and another thing, no ewallets.

Like tking mention not many options, ask for a check pay the fee and leave the site.

This is a comun mistake that a lot of us do when play in sites, before play any game try to check deposit/withdraw options first, is no point to play in a site (even if are freerolls) if later find that can´t cash out, make a good bankroll or grow $ that never can be withdraw is just time waisted. A couple of minutes looking cashouts methods/requirements will save a lot of time and headache. (i think spend a lot of time looking for those because is not clear in this site).

About the deposit first to can cashout, this is the standard in most sites (even if use neteller or moneybookers a lot of sites don´t let cash out if not deposit first).

Alot of the sites say they use the whole " deposit first, then withdraw" is to stop people from doing illegal money laundrying, but whats to stop them from doing it after they make their initial deposit? It seems like a stupid rule that is hoping to prey on compulsive gamblers or people with no self control when it comes to making a wager.

dont take this the wrong way but I dont get it ...

you havent deposited so you havent invested any of your own actual money and you've won effectively free winnings from bookmakers of $256 but moaning and warning us not to play there because they charge $45 for a cheque ??

lots of banks charge this for cheques from different places - lots of sites charge affiliates for players to not pay higher charges on cheques - lots of sites now have to pass on actual charges they are paying for providing players with withdrawls etc

$256 - $45 = $211 still free money

$211 is better than zero which is what youve actually wagered of your own cash afiaks

most sites will insist on a deposit before paying out free winnings etc ... thats just good sensible business and also part of money laundering requirements in alot of networks

I honestly dont understand how anyone can slag a site off for effectively still giving them free money ...

also I'm really not sure how everyone thinks the rooms would be in business for long if they just gave money away for free to everyone and anyone

also alot of the charges are actually genuine charges that these sites WOULD incur to send the funds ... so theyre hardly going to give you $256 free (thats a loss of $256) + pay the $45 cost of the cheque themselves ??

thats a real actually net total loss to them of $301 ... for what ?

BTW if anyone out there wants to charge me $45 for accepting a check for $256 PM me anytime ;-)

but still nice to know that they actually charge $45 would put me off using the site especially if you cant use neteller.

Only charge I get for neteller is when I transfer $$ from poker accounts to neteller account I get charged a small commission

yep maybe i wasnt too clear - it wasnt a specific comment about the room - more the principle that free money isnt going to just be free money

I dont promote oddsmaker - I think the feedback has been mixed about them so there nto a site Im interested in promoting or sticking up for

its more that I think the idea that everything should be free or a giveaway and there shouldnt be "reasonable" strings to sites offers is a bit well optomistic

Oddsmaker in not a site I would recommend at all so I think you're wise not to promote them Bob.

I tried to deposit with them more than once
using Neteller and the deposits kept failing.

I had several email exchanges with them
where they were 'pushing' me to use my
credit card instead.

I pointed out to them that I have
a Neteller account for a reason and
would not be using my credit card
to deposit.

In hindsight, after doing more research about them and
their reputation and reading mostly negative 'press'
I am glad that the deposits failed
and I removed the site from my pc.

As far as it being free money bob, that's not the point in my opinion ...I offered to deposit using neteller but they wouldn't have that either.

Having spoken to their support 3 times since i have had 2 support people tell me that I can't withdraw using Neteller and then one telling me it was ok as long as I deposit using that method........Who do i believe.......????

Hey Judge, maybe to save the headaches you should just go ahead and take the check route, hell its still gonna be a sweet little cashout for free then you can say later days to the site and never look back,lol imho
