I don't think I'd ever this 'late reg.' strategy for a rebuy tourney... especially that one. I mean don't you want a shot at all those chippies? I hate doing multiple rebuys in a $1donker but those chips you're buying will be sitting right there on the table for you... waiting for you to add them back into your stack along with many more (hopefully, lol).
I've only played the dailydollardonke a phew times & actually quit during the rebuy a couple of times (-EV) as I'd gotten it in great a few times & table was overly spewy and kept getting sucked out on preflop to hands like J6o, etc. (there were a couple players who'd be calling any & all preflop 3bet shoves.. and both had monster stacks from doing so... they had terrible strat. obv. but I found myself getting tired of it).
Typically though, don't we want to get in there from the very start? It's when we can flat in position with speculative hands (ie. low pp to setmine) while blinds are low & everyone's stack is deep (and while there's HUGE fish on the table... although that doesn't change much in later levels in the daily donker)... so that we can take down MONSTER pots.
sidenote to what rg is sayin' above... it's not always the big AA/KK hands where we're taking down the most chips in a rebuy (yah, quite often it is... in a 'typical' rebuy.. but in the daily donker you'll often get 4-way allin pots pre and you'll have your big PP get crushed... many of the players in the dailydonker rebuy don't understand rebuy strat.,.. they figure just get it in w pretty much atc & gamboool... whereas when you move up a buyin level or two, there's actually a means to the madness in the rebuy period).
In a rebuy you really want to bulid a decent stack for 'after the rebuy period'. THe deeper you are, the better. I think late reg, rebuy right away & addon places you at a big disadvantage.
