Default Your KK running into AA

I am curious how often people's KK run into AA online?

And even more interested in knowing the odds of it happening? That is I am dealt KK, and at least one person at the table has AA.

Just as a frame of reference.

I have been dealt KK ten times in my last 3241 hands.

    Out of those ten hands.

7 times I do not know what the opponent held
1 time I was up against QQ.
2 times I was up against KK.

That's pretty sick that you ran into KK twice out of 10 times.

I seem to run into AA alot when I get KK.

I don't have a definite answer of the frequency but it does happen a few times a month I would guess.

It's just horrible when you're card dead waiting for a hand, nearly do a backflip when you look down at KK then get re-raised and he has AA and you're out.

A bad one that happened me not so long back, got AA 1st hand of an $8 tourney final table.

Sitting 2nd in chips so I open raise to 3 X the bb.

The only stack that can KO me re-raises.

What can I do but shove.

He turns over KK and rivers a set to KO me.

Wasn't happy but it was just one of those hands.

Woulda been chip leader by a mile if my hand had held up but there ya go.

    That's poker.

What was even more sickening was to see all the short stacks drop off real quick after I busted out.

From 224 hands where I've had pocket Kings I've lost to one pair of Aces 13 times but only 4 of them were pocket Aces the others they hit an Ace on the board.

Over all my win % with KK is 73% but 30% did not go to a showdown

Just a little less often then when you get AQ you run into AK (kinda like wtf?... damn it.. of course! )
The AQ > AK, about as often as it's supposed to win.. maybe 1 in 3 (but feels like more, lol)

You ever get KK in early levels (tourney) and with the preflop action you know that buddy/villain has AA... but there's so much in there now there's no way you're dumping your hand (also on the off chance that villain has AK). I have folded KK preflop, early levels before..... I think 'once', and they did have AA (player reads/history made me feel certain they had it, typically though.. obv never folding).

every player has a 1 in 204.16 chance of having aa v ur kk so if u are at a full 9 handed table there is 8 players who could have it 8 in 204.16 with a final figure of 1 in 25 or just over but dont forget that every time this scenario happens u will always see it where as kk v qq /jj / 1010 alot will fold pre-flop at early levels.

My suspicion has always been ak v aq spot. big blinds u get it with few players bhind u no action infront some1 has ak bhind.....not that they always win mind.

I also notice that alot more times people face off with AK vs AQ then AA vs KK but really they all are very very iritating when one is on the losing end. Seems like i'm about 50-50 when it comes to good/bad outcomes via these hands so it all works itself out, imho

Today was busted in Fulltilt with KK vs AA (make me end 25th from 271)

This take me to check some stats and.

From 23,440 hands, i get KK 199 times, win 85.4% of the time, today was only the 2nd time i face AA
    . (is what 1%?)

    Hands i lose.

    KK vs AA (2 times)
    KK vs QQ
    KK vs 88
    KK vs AJ (4 times)
    KK vs A9o
    KK Vs A7o
    KK vs A6o
    KK vs A4o
    KK Vs A3

    KK vs Q9s

    KK vs JTs
    KK vs JTo (2 times)
    KK Vs J7o
    KK vs J7s
    KK vs 45s
    KK vs 63o

from the times i lose with KK, 9 times was vs AX (30%)

    Interesting coincidence

From those 23440 hands, i get also 199 times AA (same times like KK), but win 92.5% of the time, lose 2 times vs KK.

    Times i get AK = 548, times i lose Vs AQ = 3
