Scammed by POWERPOKERCLUB

I was a member of PPC. I am owed $800.00 from them. My buddy is owed $6000.00. In the middle of a tourney for WSOP seats the game was shutdown. Supposedly because there was to much traffic. I was in 20th place with 50 people left. There was about 3000 entries. The site closed down and they are in court with the gaming network. We were all supposed to be paid by April. Now we get the run around. My friend who is owed the $6000.00 is now being accused of cheating by Dr. Checkraise(who is a middle man for the PPC) and is being told he will never get paid. I no for a fact he didn't cheat as I was sitting beside him when he won the $40,000 tourney. Any help or suggestions, someone I can call and report this theft to would be appreciated.

I don't know that Dr check whatever but i seen his name in some other threads at other forums and he was defending some somewhat shady rooms if the thread was to be believed so all in all, i would think your story is probably true and it really sucks that there are assholes around like the peeps running that show but thats the risk with the net, thats why i wish the Gov would regulate the industry even though it would be taxed, at least we wouldn't get robbed outright...sorry though hope you find the help you need

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. My windows Vista sux and crashed. I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Anyways, yes it does suck and Dr. Checkraise is now a poker pro on Feltstars. This sucks because it's really my word(plus about300 other players word vs his. And since there is really no way to prove it I'm kind of stuck. Thanks for you reply!!!
