Poker and Urination

Hiya folks. well I got drunk again and started thinking about Urination and poker. It's a fact of our human Physiology that all of us must deal with. Hehe, we all...well, ...have to take a piss.

Now the blessed amongst us i guess have a bathroom right next to the poker computer. But I'm pretty sure all of us have been in a game and well,...had to piss. Now the game is not gonna stop just so you can go piss. Actually it does, once an hour. Now for you folks that are so regular that they can wait for the break, well congrats. Go away, this blog is for us folks that have to piss BEFORE the break.


So how many of you have run to the bathroom to piss during a game, and came back to see AA or somesuch, and you got sat out due to time? Thats an arrrghhhhh for sure.
I live in the upstairs of a house, for me to piss, i have to run down a 18 step stairway, with a twist at the end, to get to the bathroom. I drink beer, a lot, so go imagine.


Ok, how about this, I think it takes a woman longer to piss than a Man. women are at a disadvantage here. it's run to the bathroom and unzip, piss, shake, and rezip versus run to the bathroom pull pants and panties down, piss, shake (maybe wipe, lol), repull panties and pants back up.


Then there is multi-tabling. say you are playing three or four MTT's at one time. well, waiting for the break is out the window. you gotta piss so you do, and your gone, you come back to people bitching about "why are they sitting out, taking so long??"
and how about those cash players that multi-table 20+ Games at one time. Doesnt a piss break actually cost you $$$$??


Now I used to be a long haul trucker. We view pissing as a right where truckers do not have options. There simply are few options, truckers cannot just pull over at any convience store or park, or whatever to go run to the bathroom. There simply is NO parking for a big truck. So all truckers (male) have a "Piss Bottle" at the ready. A empty milk Jug, or a 2 liter coke bottle. Female truckers have a small port-a-potty in the truck.


But I digress, the point is pissing does impact your poker play. All of you. I googled this subject, and there is nothing about this on the web, lol. There is plenty about "How to piss a poker player off", lol, but thats another subject.

Well-known fact actually for Online MTT players --> Gatorade bottle for the win!!
I drink alot of coffee while playing online poker (I never drink alcohol while playing poker... 'ever'... then again I never drink alcohol either... 'ever') so the bottle could be real handy. I've actually never had to use it.... 'yet'.
As far as 'cash game' players who are playing on 20tables at-a-time, they lose next to nothing when they take a break (just sit out & don't pay the blinds).

I can go 6-8 hours no problem without going. I had to have a kidney removed years ago. Maybe there's a connection. Seriously though, probably why a lot of sites went to all breaks at the same time. 5 min to go pee.

i have unplugged the laptop and taken it into the bathroom about 2-3 times. each time, i've gotten a big hand and either busted or lost a big pot.

moral: leave the computer and sit out for 1 hand or 2.

I just sit out and run down the hallway if i have to go so bad and can't wait for the break, the ain issue i have is we don't smoke in the house and a 5 min break 1 an hour isn't really cutting it so sometines i will sit out for 10 minutes or so to go light on up

It only happens once and awhile with the consumption of alot of beer. The large pickle jar then becomes handy. Why does it seem when you rush to the washroom or stove you often get back just to see the timer fold those pocket Aces.There,s another situation while trying to prepare dinner and running to and back from the stove so things don,t burn.Many times don,t have time for dinner until 10 pm !!
