There are a bunch of newer books out there on the market today re: Omaha. I just picked one up last week (my first Omaha book, although a couple of other books I have do have sections in them on Omaha but aren't very extensive).
Not sure how else to answer your question. I'm an Omaha newbie. Seems like it could be quite a profitable game to play, both online & live in casinos. My reasons for wanting to explore Omaha... just wanting to expand my game.

the book I picked up is by Jeff Hwang. I'll post a review on it once I've finished it (although my review on an Omaha book might not be the best seeing as I'm pretty much a noob at the game).

I will assume your talking about Omaha High.I like the game myself.I think its more interesting and difficult than straight holdem. You have 4 starting cards instead of 2 which leads to so many more possible hands.I think it can be quite profitable too as more players try it but aren,t very good. Many seem to still think there playing Holdem and will raise thinking they have a great hand with AA,s and no conections. You will see so many more str8,s flushs and Boats.I find it also helps in Omaha H/L as there is always a High Hand but not always a low hand so i tend to often play for the high.

Yip omaha is a great game 2 play.. involves mo skill than luck... Msomaha that's me wud rather have ace sooted or connected , than pocket aces because mo possiblilities of more winning hands.. also at a full table almost all the cards r in play ..so if there's a hand 2 b made it is diffently out there...so b careful

have all 4 of your cards play together

Omaha Hi is extremely different then Omaha Hi Low

understand the best hand on the flop can be a huge dog on the turn

if you have a hard time dealing with bad beats in Holdem, don't play Omaha
