    Default Poker Tracking Software?

Hello all. I have just recently started using poker tracking software. I was wondering if many of you online players use this. What do you think of poker tracking software? I think it is very helpful. I can go through all my hands, and see which ones I win with, and lose with. I can analyze other players also (but I only get hand info if they go to showdown). It has important stats like voluntarily puts money in pot, preflop raise %, agression frequency, and a notes section. I have been using it for 4 days now, and already it is helping me to identify tight players and fish. Let's hear your thoughts... Peace.

I don't think any sites actually ban the use of Poker Tracker or HEM so in my book they are not cheating. I know it has been talked about on here before and some don't like them much.

I use Poker Tracker but only very basic information. It just makes life easier when multi-tabling cash tables. I've been working on my cash game for a while and Poker Tracker has helped with that, I'm now up to playing 6 tables full ring and without it I would struggle with reads on players. It has certainly paid for itself several times over.

Does it help? yes I think so. Does it give me an unfair edge? mmm maybe But I quite like the money that puts into my bankroll.

OK so pop Table NINJA to play 25-50 tables at once and crank up the HEMS or HUDs or whatever the f they are called, and let it put the bet in for you and let the other programs tell you the frequencies of your opponents but OH yea you still have to push the button to bet, so the fact you gotta push the bet or fold button makes you legit. GIVE ME A BREAK. THis is what professionals do is what I heard to make the ROI and rakeback big money. HMMM just seems wrong. Your not playing the player, youre just letting the software play the player and youre just cruising. I mean how many software programs do yo need to convince yourself youre a good player. The answer should be none

Whoa easy there killer. All the software does is keep stats like voluntarily enters pot %, Agression %, and preflop raise %. And if your opponent shows a hand down, it records it. Mostly it is beneficial to analyze your own play. HUD = Heads Up Display, displays the players name, any notes, and those 3 stats I mentioned earlier. Same can be done by taking good notes, but this is easier. To each his own... Peace.

when you say the software, your referring to Poker Tracker, which is different then all poker tracking software.

I have no issues with software that analyses your hand history on the fly, that wasn't the poll question. The question lumps in cheating software with what some (not all) poker sites consider legit.

Oh ok. Well it is pokertracker. I did not want to drop a name because I didn't know if it was cool to say the name on here. I was not aware there was "cheating" software. I actually read about pokertracker in the book you recommended, "Killer Poker By The Numbers". The author recommended getting it, so I am on the 5th day of a 60 day trial. Just basic stats as I said earlier in post. He also recommended poker stove. It is cool to crunch some numbers with pokerstove. Anyways...... peace.

I am so glad that i don't care about how good i get at poker, sheesh all the books to read and the different angles one has to watch for and then to top it all off to be any good at all you have to be able to calculate pot odds and implied pot odds and then you have to analyze the meaning of life and , oh you get the picture. So i will stick with playing for fun and a hobby after work, i make minum deposits at a site to start out and most of them i have never had to put more money on more then 2 or 3 times and some not even that, but i mainly play low buy-in MTT or sit-n go's, so thats why i answered, i never even thought much about it
