Off to a rough start so far this Sunday... :(
Well got off to a rough start so far today,... fell back asleep after alarm went off & didn't get an hour to get myself together prior to firing up a bunch of MTTs (no coffee.. no smokes.. & only ~4hrs. sleep ).
Was in a few good ones today, along with OFC. Played a few great hands (I must say so myself, will post them later on) - - one was pulling off a very cool bluff (& showing it) & another where I was able to get it allin on flop as 93%fav for ~150bb pot.. weeee!! Then went absolutely cardead just off bubble ($10buyin $1K added), got coolered, then poof.. out on a SS running into a hand.
OFC was a very short-lived experience (not unusual at all).. limper calls a raise & 3bet (me w AKs)... lose a big pot there... then ship it with TT over a raise & call but with only ~15bb's.. & run into KK. Chatting with a few friends on Skype, they all go out early as well... one who managed to get it ALLIN pre, 50bb's deep with AA... called by 98o(<??).. & lost, lol & another losing AA < AK.. sigh. How I ever took back-to-back 4th's in that fishfest is beyond me & feels like generations ago (well.. it was 2yrs ago now). Sure wish they'd have 3,000chip stacks in that tourney but likely wouldnt change things too much (never seen so many fish in same tourney).
Out just off bubble in a couple of others & now nursing a shortstack in the last one remaining of this session. Damn... MTTs can be a real letdown at times.. but got to take the good with the bad & if you feel you're playing well.... it's all you can do.
A half hour break comin' up (much needed!!!) then firing up another half-dozen tourneys, crossing fingers & hoping some of my lottery tickets hold up in these ones (sundays typically suck for me... weird because one would assume it to be the opposite when the most fish are playing... sigh).
