Default The Future of Poker ... makes you think ..

YouTube - The Future for Online Poker Players?

Just click the Blue Utube Link. I found this and I thought it worth sharing. Its so well done adding a little humour, sarcasm and reality to the situation we have now. Doesn,t the U.S. Government have more serious issues to attend to. ?? Thank God I,m Canadian because the US won,t leave it alone.I feel sorry for the US players always getting the worst of it all the time.

Watched it yesterday. Pretty much described how I'm feeling at the moment. Starting to feel like we live in China, oh wait, THEY can play poker.

.... yes. I was quite surprised to see them let the drug dealers go free. Perhaps some of the players should seek a new occupation, one that obv. comes with less risk.

hum.. wonder if they make it legal.. Apply a small tax to the multi billion industry.... will they get closer to a budget solution? Maybe.. just maybe.. If they made MJ legal as well... a small tax to that mega monster industry.. hum.. might shave a 1/3 off the debt! lol J/K.. One can dream.. I have a dream.. a glorious dream! where I can roll a fatty and play poker in my PJ's.. >sighs< I might just have to move to Canada.. lmao

Yeah, The Micros was good. The OP video...well...bit of a false dichotomy, don't you think? As more information comes out, it sounds like the DOJ just did what they were supposed to do; they were given a tip, and followed through on it. I question the political wisdom of doing it just as there were serious talks about legalizing online poker, but the DOJ isn't a political institution, and (IMO) shouldn't be. Unfortunately, it's not really politically feasible for the president to order the DOJ to stand down in what is essentially a multi-million dollar money laundering case.

My hope is that, in the long run, this is very good for online poker in America. A week ago, I was relatively happy just playing on a couple of sites, even if the action on my preferred site (FTP) wasn't the greatest. So were a lot of other players. Now, though, the push for legalization is far more serious. Would Greg Raymer have been on a Fox Business a week ago talking on behalf of PPA?
