Merge The New Home For US Poker Players?

Looks like the Merge Network is becoming the new home for US poker players. Pre Black Friday (Week ending 28th March) Merge had just moved up to 18th place on PokerScouts traffic table. Just seen today that they have moved into 11th place and look to be about to go past Entraction into 10th.

I've been playing on there quite a lot lately and it is certainly busier on there. The downside at the moment is the feel of the game has changed considerably. Most of the new players seem to be tight multi-tabling grinders and displaced higher limit players who are trying to grind up a bankroll because they don't want to risk to much money in case Merge is the next DOJ target.

My win line has gone flat because the fish have been thinned out or got drowned

yep Merge Gaming Network is making alot of progress - but I think that is down to the principle sites on the Merge Network

I would stick with the main ones

Carbon & Aced are all part of the same flagship group

and then Sportsbook and PlayersOnly is another well backed business

I wouldn't bother looking any further than that ... and yep I guess its inevitable at this point that US players looking for a new home at this point will definately be the diehards and decent players. The novice and recreational players will likely come back to online poker once they get their payment / cashouts from PS and FT

thats when I predict the numbers will go up again and the fish factor will increase again

I hope you are right Bob about the fish coming back, I'm playing on Aced through your rake back link and it's nice getting a bit paid back into my account every day. I'm just going to have to play better, I'm also playing on a Euro site that's still fishy as hell

The problem we're having in our house is that my husband and I both play online at the same time, sometimes in the same tournaments and Carbon won't allow both of us because we're on a wireless router so it's sending out the same IP address for both of our computers. For whatever reason, I also had trouble getting Carbon to run on my computer even when he isn't logged in so I guess I'll find another site to play through. I already uninstalled it and left comments on their survey thing that popped up when it was done uninstalling.
