Hi, haven't posted in quite awhile. Bodog is the site I've always played at, but don't think I can anymore. I need to find a new US friendly site that is reliable at letting you withdraw. Bodog would send you your money. Iv'e heard comments about others not paying out. Is carbon ok for US $

Bodog's new software is not very good IMHO. Just read their comments on facebook!!

at the moment given the current situation in the US and the more limited options the only site I would recommend is

carbon poker

I need to update my US page as I took off all recommendations but now the dust has settled for those US players I think the main site on the merge network is the only / best option

but I would as per usual recommend only depositing what you can afford etc etc

(however as a general not to players please dont make lots of small withdrawals as this just makes it even more costly and their job even harder to service the US)

I think Carbon now have things much better segregated so I would be less worried on that front and the situation with FTP is now more positive too

I wouldnt be rushing to play on other merge skins as they will be smaller

also wouldnt be rushing to cake and other smaller networks open to US for the moment

ps. for non US players who want a Merge site (and able to play with US players) I would suggest aced which is the sister site of carbon but is now non US player only so offering a bit more peace of mind for non US players who want Us action

What the heck is this merge stuff? I read a comment about Bodog being a merge site, I don't know if that has something to do with their recent changes or not.
They made a lot of changes about 4 months ago just about eliminating their poker points.
I put in 100 back in June and have just over 400 now. Think maybe I should pull out b4 they quit serving US

Merge Gaming is a network (Bodog is not on the Merge Network btw)

like ipoker network, ongame network, 888 Poker Network, International Poker Network etc

basically just a group of skins / brands using the same software but owned by different companies

some companies will own several skins (or brands) on the same network

some networks will have alot of skins / sites some will only have a handfull

on Merge Network the main skins are Carbon Poker, PDC Poker & Aced poker all owned by the same company who originally setup the network / software in the first place

then there are a load of other skins who use the same software / share player tables but are not the same business

merge network is now the biggest network open to US players
