Thank you 4the words of encouragement scrawnybob, yes i havent been @ the internet poker long at all, but have been playing live now for 6yrs, just b4 the 'BIG BANG' of texas holdem took off.
Week 1 produced a $350 profit, which included a $10 high stack tourny win, but as iv found out, its very hard to get a read off a pc screen, and at the level of stakes im playing at ($5-$25 mtts) im sure ther are alot of escaped patients from mental hospitals playing these stakes, but until im at least a yr making profit at this level it is wher im staying.
I decided to cut up my credit card, and i only allow my self a certain amount each week, which i lodge thru local bookies, trying to teach disipline to myself,{old dog new tricks, so to speak}, but i will sign up to a few of ur advertised poker sites on my days off,{ i take 2 days a week off }, so i treat it like a proper job.
Week 2 starts now @9 on saturday morning, so im out of here, best of luck to all ur patrons, and will be in touch again soon.

Week 2 for myself kicked off wit an e.mail from ladbrokes to play in the weekly leader board freeroll(i finished33rd), which considering i play at a certain stake,($5-$25) is not 2bad...
So i sat down, playing alot of hands cause i was getting the cards, and was double the average stack in the tourny...
Around hand no 40, hole card s are AA, im under the gun, the table is loose, so i call, and 4 sure i get a raise and a re raise, and an all in 1200chips, so i wait my turn, i call his all in, and player 4 comes over the top, wit 680chips xtra. if he thinks he wud scare off any1 with that re raise, (fool).
Cards turn up, i have AA, Vs 89suited , 33 and AQ , so im bout 48% fav, now the 89 suited i couldn't understand, but on the flop comes 7, 5, A, so i hav trips, and am looking good, turn card is a 2, so its me and mr. 89 and up pops a 6 ..
Not easy to understand, until i asked him wher he was from, SWEDEN, that explains it, he is a muppett... iv put in my notes on him, to try not get invlolved in hands he is in, cause he will muff u!!! As i said it was a freeroll, but the prizes wher super, and oz millions seat 4 winner, not saying i wud have won it, but Mr. poker ther with his 89 suited didnt help my cause!!(LOL)
Week 2 and i made a $127 profit, and won a seat for the irish classic, worth $2000, so not a gr8 week, but it can only get worse>>>

I've moved this thread over as its a bit more meaty than the usual hello threads ;-)

Man that was an unlucky river - at the end of the day you got your money in and he got lucky - AA gets really tricky against more than one player as your odds get cut down badly

plus the more that goes in the pot the more a marginal drawing hand call become justified

Especially if your Swedish LOL

Anyway good to see you in profit and I've also posted off your 4kingpoker baseball cap - So I hope it brings you some luck in the tournie
